I like the Red letters. They've always been very helpful and I'm glad they are in here experiencing the game with us. Now I understand everyone has strong feelings about the feddings today. Some are overwhelmingly for them others find them unjust and a gross use of power.
BUT
We should all take a moment to consider how we would feel if we were the ones experiencing such torment, or how we would react if it were a family member or one of our own children. If Bogie plans on getting the authorities involved there has to be some level of truth to his statement.

If I have a secret affair, send nudes and all this stuff to the man I'm having the affair with.... and he shares the affair and nudes with his friend who turns around and shows other people, who am I to be upset with? Probably the man I was intimate with. That's the initial breach of confidence (along with my infidelity) would be the root of the entire situation.

Actions and consequences
If hemi shared the details she received from PJ for the purpose of harassing and blackmailing her, then hemi 100% deserves the ban.
I've shared private information with friends in this game. If they forward that information to someone, then they're a bad friend and it's bad manners.
If they then use that information in a plot to get me removed from committee or to get ostracized by the Torn community, then they deserve to be banned.

honestly, at this point the thread should be locked, and any subsequent threads on this topic be locked and/or the people creating them warned.
none of us are involved directly in this, and the game sure as f**k doesnt need everyone bickering back and forth over something with genuine RL consequences.
PJ was part of those details that she was sharing. So your take is that nobody should share anything that happens to them with anyone else? That is a ridiculous take to me. That’s not how normal interaction works! People get excited about the shiny parts in their lives and they need to unburden the not so shiny parts. While they know that lots of things shouldn’t be shared with just anyone, sometimes they share things with close friends who they have confidence in and know will celebrate and or commiserate with them! It’s human nature.
PJ is clearly regretting whatever it is she shared in confidence with Hemi. The difference is that Julie didn’t use the information to make friends and influence others… she discussed her own life experiences with her friend. There is a difference.
A woman spoke with another woman about her experience with someone she was involved with. The expectance of confidentiality based on the friendship is normal. It is abnormal to sit there letting a person who thinks you are being her friend share all her most private thoughts and feed it to a creep like Herrschmidt! That’s truly disgusting and indefensible. I’ll say it again. Hemi is NOT the victim here!
