I average over a 30 day period about 1 item every 3 days.
I'm about the same to be honest no merits in awareness horrid rng never found a se
I have a few merits into awareness and I typically find 2-3 items but I don’t search every day.
After a quick look at my logs looks like I have been finding less items too, i dont know, might look into it later...
I travelled more this past few weeks, maybe because of that i got less city finds.
It really is all RNG, I have no merits at all in Awareness and just recently got the 10% awareness perk from EDU. Prior to getting the 10% awareness I was getting mainly spray cans and other random junk. I did however find a Skateboard once but everything else has been junk and very spread out in days of finding something.
Even with the 10% awareness perk nothing has changed for me. I check city once a day and let it be, I just look at it as something a little extra if there is something there but not going to go out of my way to put merits into it
I have 10 merits in awareness and find barely anything ever i don’t understand how the RNG works but I think for people with 10 merits they should get a small bonus buff because currently it’s extremely bad. This is a huge issue in the game no one even mentions.
Didn't we just have an event that's whole purpose is to raise awareness on how bad awareness is?
I have max awareness and I get roughly 1 or 2 items every 3 days
It does give you a small bonus buff… it’s just that it’s negligible enough to not really matter.
10/10 awareness gives you 200% extra awareness. Let’s just say that everyone has 100% awareness without any buffs. Awareness is additive so you would have 300% awareness. So you are 3 times more likely to find something than someone with no awareness buffs, but you’d have to assume the baseline chance of finding something is pretty low in the first place.
The only thing that significantly raises the drop rates is the Finders Keepers book, which adds 2500% awareness. So 200% is barely a drop in the bucket in comparison.
Right I find absolutely nothing maybe 8 things a month with max merits during awareness week I got 4 things. This used to me like 20 -30 things a few years ago so they have nerfed the awareness in general.
