Above poster is incorrect. Money can be moved at any point in time up until the mug button is pressed. 

Both of the above are correct.

Money can be deposited into a trade or property vault while under attack.

I forget if faction/company vault can be accessed while under attack (for deposit, pretty sure withdrawal doesn't work while under attack).

Purchases cannot be made while under attack (ie buying items or stocks or bank certificate of deposits).

However sales can be made while under attack (including selling items and selling stocks). 🫠

I'm fairly certain you can buy stocks while under attack, and you can definitely use company vault so probably faction as well.

You can sell them. You cannot buy them. I stand corrected, this behavior appears to have been updated since I used stocks.

I'm not sure if can deposit to faction vault while under attack but fairly certain cannot withdraw while under attack. Had mercs on me the other week and couldn't do jack shit involving vault balance giving until I hopped on a wall XD "You cannot do this action while you are under attack" 🫠

You absolutely can buy stocks while under attack. You maybe can't access the page fresh? But if it's already open in another tab, you can 100% can.

I have panic bought stocks while my screen flashes red many many times.

I have also been sat on 1hp while someone holds me to try and time the mug and bought stocks. It is a legit tactic.

Note: It is not a strategy I would recommend to protect your money! The stock market has a habit of needing to refresh values at the critical moment.

It is also a lot of clicks which is inefficient.

E.g. Win rr, switch tab, max fill, buy, confirm.

Huh maybe they changed this behavior without an announcement or we missed the announcement bc this was not how it used to work, iirc. I have no stock purchases less than 30 seconds before an attack log. I have not purchased stocks in several months, as I use PI vault now.

Ive been doing it for years on mobile. Vanilla app, and for the last two or so years using PDA.

Not sure if the behavior you experience is a bug or what I've experienced is a bug 💀

I can confirm that it’s possible to navigate to the stock page and buy stocks while under attack, I’ve done this multiple times.

just to confirm as someone who's extensively used a faction vault for primary storage almost 5 years; you can withdraw and deposit while being under attack,  the only thing that locks you out of vault access is once a status change has been applied.

Huh, I specifically got the status right on one med our and it wouldn't let me send money on the next med out :( Had to get on a wall to be able to do faction activities. May be an issue with how Torn PDA catches pages. Trades don't update in real time either.

That would be my guess. It's always worked for me.

Edit: I know if you're on the deposit page after being hosped and it reloads the page with the status change, it will lock you into "add balance" only unless you refresh again. I assume it could be a similar issue with not being able to determine if you're in the hosp or not. 

 Ironically just had time to double check and test both during a random attackers fight against eod.

Apparently you can even place an AH bid (with all of your money) while under attack too... and also get mugged for the amount of cash you had on hand when you placed the bid, causing negative wallet balance 🫠 Looks like a few things aren't exactly working correctly rn.

Wonder if stock buys have the same issue or if you can only buy when have 1 HP as stated in a prior comment on this thread? So many checks and balances here!!
