Yeah, I get it, and I really will miss working with PT, you guys have been great team mates and good friends. You'll never hear me say a bad word about PT, same goes for IBB and SA. You were all great to work with, and I'm always gonna be grateful for the years we spent together through the ups and down. 

Please trust that the state of the game didnt directly have anything to do with this move. I've been true to everything but myself in this game for over a decade and all it got me was a huge headache and a complete lack of reciprocation 

People think that being a big time HOF lead is worth everything ya gotta put up with, but to me, who suddenly remembered that this is just a game, its not worth tolerating people that constantly work against you, or the people that see it every day and are more than cool with it. 

I'm trying to keep shit low key and just move on, but if ya knew the REAL story behind my departure, I dont think its me you'd be calling the "traitor" ..  I woulda done anything for anyone in CR, but when it becomes evident that shit dont go both ways, then my ass is movin on. 

Anyone that knows me knows I only logged in every day for CR. Mom died, there that day. Dad died, there that day. Wife died, TRIED to get away, had faction drama , and yep, logged in. When that level of loyalty and commitment is given, you better believe I expect at least SOME loyalty and commitment back. 

I didnt get it, so I dipped the f**k out. No plan or idea where I'd end up, just on my own to figure it out and an old friend put out a hand, and a a group of people I've been nothing but a pain in the ass to for years were big enough to let bygones be bygones and take me in. 

Couldnt be simpler, well for me anyway, but I get how it looks from the outside lookin in.

People hop around all over facs between alliances in Torn, no one gives a shit, Mikes just more high profile. Game's not that serious, for all the shit talk people at the top end tend to wander a lot, the shit talk just fills the time.

Guy I've known since before Torn is in CR, doesn't mean we suddenly hate eachother, and I'm still gonna throw a smoke at his ass in a world war, it just isn't that serious.

I just trust my decision making more than others, so I know if I'm callin the shots, things will usually go pretty good.  NS is one of the very few places I can go in this game, where the people driving the bus got shit under control and do not require anything from me but killin shit.

Lastly rhaub was too harsh. Not every departure or fallout needs to have a villain. People can simply grow apart, be incompatible, or want different things. And that is okay.

Probably breathing a bit easier, leading a faction at all is work. Hard work. I know, I did it. My last straw for me was when my cousin was killed and I asked for one weekend to be offline and the team that was in place at the time couldn’t even handle that. It was for me becoming a full time job. my mental health started to take a toll. Wife, mother part was becoming a stress. I am glad I sold my faction. For the first couple of months I just joined random factions looking for a place. But I was able to breathe. No one bothering me for this or that or asking me for weapons armor drugs etc. no faction drama … sort of refreshing.

i think Mike will feel the same. Just breathing, no pressure, enjoying the day to days of random shit, not being blamed for this or that. 

No. Don't get me wrong.  I never toss a friend or ally,  ever for a single action.  I meant what I said, to wish you the best.  Though many other are haters just hating.  Still not happy, but understanding.

Strange move old friend or not. If you wanted to get away from it all there was any number of other options. The cynic is me says you guys will make a move cause people in the old place are too cosy not making moves, which I hope is true. Enjoy being in the same shit different day place.

Why would you want to be in the same group that keeps leaning on you? "other side" doesn't mean some evil enemy plot jesus people get a grip. If you're moving away from a situation why wouldn't you intentionally pick a whole new bunch to get to know?

Just cause they're on the opposite side of a video game doesn't make them not worth getting to know, but anyway, good luck.

Some people are taking Mike's move way too personally. Ya'll need to settle down and take a breath. I've been through a lot of shit in this game and totally understand what Mike is going through. 

When people ask me why I'm in Arcadia, the answer is simple. They took me in during a time that I really wasn't sure if I wanted to keep playing, and they took their time, and showed me how to enjoy the game again. Mike wasn't feeling the game anymore in CR and made his move. It has nothing to do with alliances or loyalty, he's just following a new path. CR will remain and has great leaders to continue to guide it.  

End of the day. It's still the same Mike on the other side of the screen no matter what his faction tags say. And I'm sure he's got plenty of long winded posts left in him as well. I'm happy for Mike and hope that NS is the place that works out for him. And if it doesn't, he'll find a different place to settle down in eventually. Anyone spouting hatred towards his move, calling him a traitor and what not, needs to go outside and sit down in the grass. Feel that grass between your fingers, and really touch it. Because you're all wound up tight over something that shouldn't be a concern to you. 

I'd rather have Mike in the game no matter where he is rather than him quit over some crap without at least searching out peace and fun elsewhere outside of CR. He's a Torn veteran and it wouldn't be the same without him.
