Rage baiting effective?

From my experience it is extremely easy to get players blood pumping and ruin their day. 

Step 1: Become a loyal and trusted member of a faction, this may take some time but some faction leaders are real life people dying to make ‘friends’ they crave the social interaction. Some even tell you about their lives outside of the game (this is where you know you got them hooked on the line).

Step 2: Soon as that faction vault is accessible, take it all and travel. Feign ignorance and state it was a mistake and you will place it all back upon return to Torn. Even better if you are in a faction war as you can’t be kicked out of the faction until the end.

Step 3: Delay the return of the cash by travelling again and feign ignorance once again.

Step 4: By this time the faction leader will be quite angry at your antics and will react very emotionally. Remember this is a game and is not real life. Morality does not apply here.

Step 5: Ensure that everyone knows it was you who took the cash and rub their noses on it in the faction chat. Remember they are stuck with you while the war is going on. 

Step 6: Mug your faction players and place the funds in your personal vault. By this time everyone is furious and sending you threats and abuse. You will also find that your faction leader may post on social media such as Reddit and even the torn forums. This is beautiful and you know you have gotten under their skin.

Step 7: After the initial bounties and messages from higher level players, whereby they threaten you etc. Which I must add gives you plenty of options to bait them further and is glorious. Once the bounties die down and they forget about the ‘horror’ of your actions in a crime based game (ironic isn’t it?). You then post on the forums to remind everyone what you did.

Step 8: After posting on the forums the players who live for this game and more than likely are jobless and have no spouse will respond. The usual comments you can expect are; bro destroyed his game for a measly 500m etc. They act not bothered but trust me they are furious that their perceived powers in this game don’t affect anyone. It also shines a light to themselves on how meaningless and powerless they are in their real lives.
