is it every 90 or 180 treats we click exchange so then we aren’t wasting them due to the 1k energy return cap (given that you have all the upgrades)

GergB [3520225]

because its only 13 treats at a chance to get 1000 with all the hundreds of attacks you'll do throughout the event, might get lucky for a cheap price

NikolaTesla [1631174]

Is the Crystalline Falcata a spooky weapon? Considering the name and the way in which it was obtained it sure sounds like it's the spookiest of all weapons I own, but it seems like my treat rewards per attack drops when I have it equipped for standard event attacks back in TC.

Summoning M'aol

So you want to wreak havoc on the city huh? Well first, you'll need to collect 9,999 treats in your basket before you'll be able to click the magical button. The upgrade path is slightly different than for those going the normal route though.  I'd recommend the following path:

This isn't for the feint of hearted though. There are no rewards for doing this, other than a shiny basket, a bit of notoriety, and wreaking havoc on the entirety of Torn.  It's going to take you many years of hoarding treats to achieve this feat.

However, once you've done that, a whole bunch of things happen at once, including a Torn wide alert that he has been summoned.

For the magical clicker though, you'll be rewarded with this sweet new basket and be immune to all attacks and effects from M'aol and his Praetorians forever:

Apocalyptic Only obtained by summoning M'aol -

For everyone else though, your basket will get a couple new optional "upgrades" once M'aol has been summoned.

#1 Crystalline Falcata A weapon used to pierce through Astral Guard 135

#2 Starshield Breastplate A chest armor piece which protects its wearer from the effects of Insanity 75

#3 Stygian Darkness A temporary that can be used against M'aol and his praetorians to allow all players to damage them. 20
Total: 230
All Basket Upgrades: 14,372

WARNING: The Stygian Darkness can be used by accident in normal attacks and will not be refunded. You can only ever get 5, so make the best of them and be careful! (Turn off temporary items in your attack settings to prevent using them on defense).

These items are untradeable and can only be obtained by exchanging the treats for them. As far as we know, you can only ever unlock these once, so don't lose them.

M'aol's Praetorians

You may have noticed that I've mentioned M'aol's praetorians (minions) a few times by now.  Once M'aol has been summoned, he's unable to be attacked until his "Paretorian Bond" has been deactivated. This happens only after all five of his praetorians have been defeated. These minions will awaken in random countries. The community must work together to defeat these monsters as they have an insane amount of health and stats.

Each Praetorian can gain one of the following random abilities:
* Void Shroud - 90% chance to deflect temporary weapons.
* Aegis Shield - Blocks 90% of incoming attacks.
* Melee: Disarm - Disables an opponent's weapon upon hand or arm hit for 16 turns.
* Melee: Poison - 100% chance to Poison causing 950% damage over 19 turns.
* Melee: Crusher - 1000% increased Head damage

All minions will have the following abilities:
* Ephemeral - Becomes dormant if not defeated within one week of the summoning.
* Mortalitas - Can not regenerate life.
* Astral Guard - Invulnerable to attacks from the physical realm

Upon each minion being defeated, they will drop a unique relic item as well as 100 Greater Acra Fortunae, an item that gives the player 200 to 300 treats once they open it and 1,000 Lesser Arca Fortunae that gives the player 50 to 75 treats once they open it.

Dyno'salam [100]

Nol'dasaym [101]

Asmol'yand [102]
Relic: Asmol Knuckle - Once activated, provides the user with a passive damage bonus of +100%.

Sylo'nadem [103]

Relic: Sylo Tooth - Once activated, grants the user +25% (additive) crit chance.

After all five have been defeated, the real fun begins and M'aol becomes vulnerable. Like his praetorians, you can only damage him with a Crystalline Falcata or if he's under the effect of a Stygian Darkness. M'aol will travel between the locations that his Praetorians were defeated in every 15 minutes in the order that they were defeated.

M'aol [23]

Upon defeat, M'aol will also drop a relic, M'aol Tentacle, as well as one of each piece of his armor, and 100 Greater Arca Fortunae and 1,000 Lesser Arca Fortunae. The relic, M'aol Tentacle, once activated will double the nerve and energy capacity and regeneration rate for the user.

Each item has bonus called Kinetokinesis, where each item provides 75% of damage reduction on subsequent hits within 10 seconds. The full armor set bonus increases this duration to 15 seconds.

Final Notes:

Relics only work for one year and will convert to a "Withered" state. It is currently undetermined if this means the following year's Halloween or on the day the relic was earned.

The first time M'aol can be awoken each year is at 10:00 TCT on the 26th of October, and must be awoken no later than 23:59:59 on the 31st of October. Once M'aol has been defeated, we must wait two solar cycles before he can be summoned once again. This means we can only summon him three times per year.

To follow along with the chaos that happens with M'aol and coordinate with taking down the Praetorians, join the Cthulhu Command Center Discord.

Good luck and happy hunting!

Fun side note: All of the Praetorians are anagrams of S**** L***. Make of that what you will about who is really behind everything.
