getting paciFISTed

i just wanna say, holy shit. what an honor to be on such an amazing crew with my fellow PaciFISTS. this has easily been my favorite elims, even though the end was so messy.

our leads jefersonakl, mr bossident (the_boss for short), and fidel were clear and concise about our changing tides. idk where the rumor came from about the in-fighting, 'cause UNTIL THE VERY END there wasn't a harsh word spoken amongst the three of them the entire event. we're basically all besties now uwu 

jefersonakl promoted me as potential leader from the beginning, and mr bossident even taught me how to USE CAPITAL LETTERS. A LOT. it was genuinely a pleasure to work with them both, even up until the very bitter end.

in the beginning, we were a part of the 5 of the 5v7 (us, pink power, punch bags, village idiots, and cupcakes). we tried our best to help Village Idiots, but their leadership issues didn't help them stay afloat. peasants switched to us in their hour of need, and as much as we tried to protect them, we simply couldn't. the MeanMike/Stretch alliance wanted PP out, so we tried to protect them too. but in the meantime, Metalheads were losing lives, so they were natural next step out. then, everyone knows what happened - it was the 7v1 Lumberjacks, 6v1 Terror Bytes, 5v1 Punch Bags, and then Breakfast Club were sitting pretty until they sided themselves with the losing 5v1 team, making them the 4v1 target, and then 3v1 cupcakes.

here's where shit got hairy... not just for strategy, but for our leads. 

in the end, The_Boss decided that we would go against The Hornets, which initially i had agreed to because i was following Boss. but jef provided some solid data about TB as the harder opponents, so jef and i veto'd.

ofc this pissed Boss off, but he apologized and admitted that we were right, and that we should move forward with our plan.

but then, The_Boss went behind our backs while we were sleeping and ordered some of our team members to hit the Hornets (it's funny because he asked them to STEALTH hornets, not realizing that this function doesn't exist in elims? and also, he choose the chattiest cathies (lookin at you kyle) to tell to hit hornets, resulting in the leak) and re-flipping/kicking the hornets' nest caused andrew to turn to TB and absolutely fk us

so anyway! that's how we secured our 3rd place.

okay, now to the gay part

from the very top to the bottom (til the end uwu), our team was so cohesive and lovely. this is about to be a MeanMike magnitude list of names of players i adored this elims. if i didn't name i'm so so so sorry there were so many people i loved on this team. 

a genuine and sincere thank you to the_boss, whom i still respect to the end & who stayed and brought us to the end of a massive & incredibly fun last-effort push

thank you a million times to jefersonakl, who supported me from the beginning and became a legitimate friend to me throughout the duration of elims

and thank you to fidel, who supported from the background & maintained a level head in the face of any and all bickering

a huge huge s/o to Gem, whose spreadsheets were a beacon in the darkness for organization, and who was not the top hitter of our team (mvp Lewwer), but certainly the top hitter in our hearts <3333. huge s/o to fragilesong (love u bb) and ravenmorgan03 for assisting in organization for delegation of tasks & keeping people up to date.

What a ride!  I almost didn't join elims, then I almost didn't care, then I became a cat herder, and eventually got more invested than I intended to.  This was truly a great experience and some great people!
