Farewell TNL

As many of you already know, a longtime member of Westworld departed from us yesterday morning when TNL dropped their tiles and left WW servers.

TNL was an integral part of WW for years and a key component in our side's Island War 2.0 victory. There was generalship from Andrew_616 who tirelessly grew TNL to what it is now, all-around leadership and organization from Lunartemis, and powerful technological tools from Omanpx.

Sadly, it became more and more apparent over the last year that our two factions just could not work together. We tried to work it out, and in fact the very screenshots released in their document (written by people currently in fed) *were* us trying to come to a solution that would calm us all down.

Aquagloop had gathered data so he could tell his side of the story, but, rightly or wrongly, I counseled him not to post it. When Aqua was instead put into 30-day fed, his greatest lament was that he never got to speak up. Knowing that his story would expose some bad activity by TNL, I and others tried to mediate a solution that required only that Oman apologize for spearheading a smear campaign based primarily on an unrecognizable version of events. Ultimately, we were rejected, and they left of their own accord.

Personally, I don't think any of the people involved truly understood they were breaking the rules, and I am sad to see anyone lose so many years of work from being wrong. We've poured our lives into this game for pixel stats.

I wish TNL well, regardless of which side they're on. We're all playing a game together, after all.

If, and that's a very big IF, great IF, some would say enormous IF, ovoxo was still here, and he's not, but if he was, he would be very saddened by this news.

This is good for Torn.  The big alliances make the game stale.

Aquagloop explicitly was told not to use a shared key - He said staff okayed it - Oman went to staff behind his back to verify - finding out it was in fact not okayed, and is not okay - he then said he would fix it, never did.  (egregious violation)

Aquagloop explicitly was told from the beginning to ensure the script only worked on the in focus tab - He was aware, and never did it. (Hands down the easiest thing he could have implemented)

I'm sorry your coder threw together a ChatGPT script that was directly in violation of rules, and I'm so glad your guy popped a temporary fed when he facilitated the whole thing, and lied about what he made from the very beginning.

Please don't act like anybody didn't know what they were doing was wrong (Mr_D, and Aquagloop were quite brazen about their violations).

Edit: I will not be engaging with this thread in any form, so no point trying to get more than my own summary based upon the technical portions I have been exposed to more recently, the conversations I have seen, and ultimately the actual code I have seen - It baffles my mind how Aquagloop walks off with a Mining Corporation and a 30 day sentence when you put all this together, and the people who were falsely told the script did this - But did that, wind up most punished.

My summary is fully supported by further "evidence" put out in this thread: Setting the Record Straight where Aquagloop is first approached by Leo to make the bot, he then goes to Omanpx for guidance - throughout this you will see numerous instances of Aquagloop/Kingfisher only communicating 2-5% of his conversations with staff (a single reply screenshot rather than the context around it), despite being requested multiple times to share the entire thing. 

Don't think RG gives a shit what Agualoop did wrong, rumour has it he was the one who helped him get a job irl? More campaigning to pass Aqualoop off as some innocent 12 year old who would never do anything wrong ever, especially not in an online game--he would only do so under extreme duress. Hilarious. 

For such an innocent guy, he sure skipped ranks internally at Monarch didn't he? So many from M are against scripts, but seems pretty clear that's the only reason he's there. I respect ya RG but that's one weak ass defense of a statement. 

Publicly sharing rumours about peoples’ IRL is not a great look. Not when Oman did it, but also here, fella.

PS: Oman shared details about his struggles with depression ect which I agree is in poor taste. Not the same thing. Simmer down back in your seat at retardation, atleast you fit in.

Perhaps you’re a bit hurt that Andrew never let you become a leader but merely put up with your attitude because he needed someone logged on constantly in the UK like a BOT to keep things on the next level
