Did grenades deserve their stealth nerf?

It used to be that damaging grenade/HEG hits would always hit the opponent's chest area and do a decent chunk of damage (they're explosives after all) but today I just noticed my grenades started hitting my targets in the hands/feet/stomach/etc and doing significantly less damage.

(This would normally do about 95 damage leaving my target for an easy finish with my revit)

I haven't tested the HEGs because I don't use them regularly and have none on me, but I would assume they got nerfed too.

Too OP? Too cheap? Idk. But I guess it's back to pepper spray for me.

Damn, it seems that drunk spastic in WFS was right.  The grenades do NO damage

To quote the sliperest of chiken

I'm not a numbers guy but I think pepper spray does even less dmg?

Karma farming with an item branded as "instant karma" has not gone unnoticed

Bro, your biggest problem is that you need a Handbag so you can throw two. 

I see no problem here. Why should a 90 dmg 116 acc weapon that costs f**k all always hit the chest?

How can a grenade only hit a hand?

Not sure if it counts but I just did NPC attacks on Fernando & Tiny and both my temps did 2k+ damage. Might be because they're severely crippled with various wep bonuses and stuff but idk.

I almost said it'd be cool if they didn't have to hit but did next to no damage when missing.

Then I remembered I'm a level holder and this is a TERRIBLE idea. Definitely not worth dev resources.

Can we take a moment to appreciate how much harder the "finish with a trout" mission is because I just drowned some poor motherf**ker in fish, seemingly hands and feet only

If you throw the pepper spray can at your opponent's head, I think it'll do more damage than the Grenades! 

still probably easier than when they had 10 acc or so

I just used 9 of them and they actually all hit in the general chest area so I'm not sure if they weren't changed or if my rng was just really good 👀
