A Message to the Players of Torn

To everyone grinding, training, chaining, and putting in the work every day:

Never let anyone convince you that your level, stats, or experience determine your worth. Every veteran in Torn started as a beginner. Every powerful player was once the person asking questions, making mistakes, and trying to figure things out.

A true faction leader understands that strength isn't measured by how loudly they can criticize weaker members. Strength is measured by how many people they help become stronger. Leadership isn't about standing above others—it's about lifting others up.

The easiest thing in the world is to point out someone's weaknesses. The harder task is teaching them, guiding them, and giving them the tools they need to improve. Any leader can demand results. Great leaders create them.

I've seen factions where members are treated like disposable resources, expected to perform without support, then blamed when they fall short. That isn't leadership. That's management by ego.

I learned a lot from my time with The United Order—especially about the kind of leadership I never want to become. A faction succeeds because of its members. The recruiters, traders, chain hitters, organizers, and new players willing to learn are the foundation of everything. When those people are disrespected, the faction weakens itself from within.

Patience builds loyalty. Teaching builds strength. Respect builds a community that lasts.

If you're a newer player, don't get discouraged by those who talk down to you. Focus on growth. Learn one thing each day. Improve your stats. Ask questions. Find people willing to help you succeed. Your progress is the best response to anyone who doubts you.

And to the leaders out there: remember that a title doesn't earn respect. Your actions do. The members who follow you are not obstacles to manage—they are the reason your faction exists.

The strongest factions aren't built on fear, arrogance, or constant criticism.

They're built by people who invest in each other.

Keep training. Keep learning. Keep growing.

And never forget: today's rookie can become tomorrow's powerhouse when given the chance

Not everyone in this game is/wants to be a leader to every new player that joins the game for 30 days before quitting. Instead of criticizing the veteran players that have spent years playing/building this game, you should do some reading. No one is keeping the secret sauce away from you guys. It’s actually written out many times over. Before asking a question, research it. Before posting about it, read about it. There is a guide or post about everything! Including stupid posts like this in GD!
