This is shit though.
We had a system where a small faction was able to learn the mechanics of the game, percect them and work as a team to overcome a superheavy but lazy asf faction and live in higher ranks than their peers could... why? Because experience and intelligence was applicable to do better than 'standard'.
A faction with 2 1b online all day can, has and will beat a faction with 10 1b offline all day so going purely off of weight/stat size is pretty stupid because its not the whole picture.
When the lazy semi casual super heavy players realised that activity was beating them they cried for the changes to protect their lazy lead and the devs bent over backwards for them like they always do lol. Wonder where the competetiveness went? Look to the farmville factions of HoF and the devs/committee too scared to go against them. Theyre why competetiveness died in this game.
Lightweights have defeated heavyweights in RWs and TWs and the deciding factor is activity, not stat weight... yes its all good throwing billions of $ at it but that means nothing if you dont have members online to actually take the wall or to actually chain and use said funds. Look at BodyBagger in TWs or fuck even myself rn in my current RW... one man army heavyweight doesnt work when you have a bunch of smaller and active players running circles around you... that makes logical sense too, just like real world... if you got rushed by 10 people and youre on youre own... its not likely that you come out on top regardless of their ages or how much theyve gone to the gym.
Sure it matters whose got the biggest stats (stick) but it matters a lot more about who is using them (swinging it) - if you got the stats but no activity... what use are those stats?
This is why certain factions that dont RW and dont play competetively were thrown into diamond recently... activity is a MASSIVE factor that was not considered in the ranking changes... i want to say 'yet' but i have little hope
