Shout-out to L4light2 [2902903] since she was absent from the mentions.

Light was our push manager several times, and led the charge at 12TCT when lives started dropping. She's highly coordinated and organized, and was able to home brew new comms on the fly when battle tactics changed very suddenly. These new tactics kept us afloat along with 9L superior firepower, keeping us alive for way longer than I think anyone expected. You're a real G, Light. Your 2027 Elim team is lucky to have you.

Then we have DonSombrero [4288658]. He was a first timer like me, and also like me he made the silly call to join one of the most demanding roles! No Taco Bell excursions for us, he spent Elims mostly in VC with the rest either running push lead or serving as a lead's backup. He was always positive in voice and text chats and made the grueling push manager role far more tolerable.

And then of course we have Friddles [2759779]. Turns out all we needed to do to get him to surrender his free time for 1+ weeks was to ask kindly! We had gaps on the schedule, and he was willing to help when the call went out. He push managed, yes, but he also brought a very unique and upbeat energy with him and was a joy to speak with. He's also the industry expert in directing noobs to big blue "Item Request" button in the #item-requests channel whenever they came to #general asking for free Xanax. God bless you, Sir.

Oof. When you setup a discord for your top 9 alliannce team in a liat of 12, you've already failed. For starters, anyone not in a secondary alliance with you, knows you intend to turn on them far from the end and that you intend to that with others in the room.

Foolish to try to get so many allies.

This was my first elim and I’m still proud that I was able to manage 30+ hits! My goal was much higher but given how things went once the pressure came and my own faction’s war starting, I feel accomplished!

Achtung!

It was fun constantly being jumped on by vice-captains in 3-on-1 attacks. Never thought I'd end up first in the team by hits taken, especially being under 1 year, haha.

I've enjoyed this experience and a short ride I've had together with all of you, my fellow kitties.

Special thanks to Bumfluff, LouWho, Bricks, everyone else in the logistics, Sparklez and all those who stayed positive till the end and did their best. I hope to work with you in the future eliminations too.

It was fun to say the least but the politics behind  the whole competition just takes the enjoyment out of it. Would be nice to have a true Elimination Competition without having all the behind the scenes dictatorship going on taking away the real meaning behind eliminations. Hard to put all your effort into something when the winner is already decided before the attacks even begins. Hate me or love for me for saying this but that's my opinion.

This was a good crew! Tough lessons learned for the first timers, but Elimination is an unforgiving mistress. The group did well with the hand we were dealt, but we're never going to win against a stacked deck (which is what Elimination is all about). Still, it was fun, and look forward to seeing some of you again in the future!

When isnt MHQ planning out the top 3.  2 tears ago they planned the entire contest.  And we'll last year they didnt get to plan anything because they were by large not voted into leadership positions.  People have short term memory problem.

Was my first year going for the 5% and i had a blast doing it. I wish i got involved more with people but there is always next year! (health permitting 🤞) I've got a lot of respect for the captains team, you made things happen and built a support system worthy of following. There was sadly some noise amongst our ranks trying to break morale, create a false narrative and doing their best to divide BUT we stayed strong so i am proud of every single member who stuck to the plan. Now obviously we did not end up where we wanted, not from a lack of trying. In the end, as many said it is a betrayal game. We were just on the wrong side of it, if you ran it back again it could be different but this is the hand we were dealt and it's okay!

I hope to see you all next year, it was a blast!
