    They probably have you on friends/enemies list and saw you were online so they mugged you. A script would need to know when you took the money out which wouldnt be possible without accessing the server or your computer. Also …

Hey guys,

Just to clarify, I am not mugged often and wasnt for 2 days prior to this incident. My bank had just ended and I had collected the money, within minutes I was mugged for around $45 million, which i'd be shocked if this were blind luck. I have been playing this game for 9 years and I have never experienced this. I have heard word of people having bots capable of this. Dont want the money back, just hope you could shed light on this issue.

The money remained as cashier checks for a fair while before taking the money out of the bank to be mugged. So cant be based on my activity

They probably have you on friends/enemies list and saw you were online so they mugged you. A script would need to know when you took the money out which wouldnt be possible without accessing the server or your computer.

Also may i suggest you put your money directly into storage rather than keeping it on hand? You did state you had minutes after removing the money before they mugged you, easily enough time to store it

In a game with thousands of muggings every day, some random, some well calculated, it does make sense that blind luck will help some people. Obviously, I don't know for sure either way. But perhaps someone just got really lucky.

i wonder if there is a script that could search through all player statistics, and pick out anyone who's largest mug is 45m to find whoever mugged you

Yeah, I get it could've just been very bad timing (for me!), just wanted to be sure the game is being played fair. Thanks for all the advise guys!

Everyone has made good points, It could be a bot, It could be damm good luck on the muggers part... It can only be one or the other..

I think you just where unlucky. I didn't mug you but i have hitten 2-3 people while they grabbed their bank just by pure luck. Your mugger is probally that kind who mugs randomly, and adds you to enemies just to hit you for very small amounts over and over again. I can bet my left arm he gonna try to mug you like 10 times the upcoming 2 days.

Its only doable if either their highest mug was equal to the money mugged or they only mugged him

I've investigated, as I do with all reports of this, found nothing suspicious.

I checked all mug records of this person, they've mugged almost 10,000 people since the end of 2014 and his mug against you was one of his biggest (top 0.1%). He mugs upwards of 25 people per day.

His average mug value over all of these is $999,269. Almost all of his mugs are in the $0 - $100k range, so if he's using a script - it's not a very good one.

Additionally, he's also mugged you personally almost 50 times, almost always receiving very low values.
