So I've done a few free signatures to get back into the swing of things and I've had some pretty good feedback, so...

I'll create one free piece of profile art each day for the person that provides the best image. Post your image here and I'll message you if you're a lucky winner.

Donations are welcome wink

**ORIGINAL POST**

So after noticing how quiet it is around here, I thought I'd try to do a little something to inspire some activity in the forum.

I remember in the old days how this place used to be buzzing with life, and there was always a little competition or event of some form going on, which brings me to my idea:

I'd like to host a little signature auction where everyone gets involved. To motivate people a little, I'll pay $1M up front for all entries (I know it' not much but I'm not too flush with coin these days). After a few days of taking entries, I and maybe somebody else? (Maybe we could establish a panel of judges?) will select the best of the signatures and auction them off, with all profits going to the respective artists. I was also thinking we could design a signature(s) as a prize of sorts, with the possibility of better prizes if there's enough interest.

Just an idea I had. Anyone interested in helping out in anyway please get in touch. Anything from donations to assisting with the setup would be very much appreciated. I'm hoping a little spark can revive this place as it's sad to see things the way they are in contrast to how they used to be. It would be great if we could get a few people on board wit this. Even any aspiring artists who've never really given it a go.

I'm currently at university studying graphic design, and it was making signatures in this place about 6 - 7 years ago that inspired me to actually study graphics. I'm willing to offer creative guidance to anyone that so wishes, and if I can inspire even one new artist to give it a go I'll feel that I've succeeded. Who knows, we may find some hidden talent.

Well, thanks for taking the time to read this, and I hope to hear from you all soon!

Been a VERY long time since I made one of these. Thought I'd give your box a crack to dust off the rust.

Been out of the game for a while now. Used to peruse these forums regularly, but alas how times change.

In an attempt to make a comeback, I'm offering customs out at 1M a piece. I have no samples to hand, but 1M is hardly a big risk to aid me in building a portfolio. I will add my work to this post as it is completed.

Any requests fire away, you won't be disappointed.

Collaboration Auction · 9 May 2022, 22:04 TCT · 6 likes

I’m looking for 3 people to collaborate with.

We’ll work together to create 3 unique pieces to be auctioned off.

I’m hoping to share a bit of my knowledge with others who may not be as experienced a possibly learn a thing or two myself along the way.

Would anyone be interested?

Thanks guys!

Why do people buy junk items? · 6 May 2022, 19:36 TCT · 6 likes

This might be a silly question but why do people buy items that are more or less useless?

for example, jackets. We can easily steal jackets and sell them in the city for for $40. But they will sell in a bazaar for like $200?

it’s like the opposite with cars though, we can sell at the docks for market value but they go for less in a bazaar?

Anyone understand the logic with this?

Could you narrow the theme down a bit or maybe provide a stock image to work with?
