I think weekly would be best suited to most players as well. That way individuals can choose whether or not to begin missions knowing they would have a week to complete them before the next one becomes available. Same release time each week as well. Would be a lot of work for the programmers though to release 52 different missions each year at regular intervals. Monthly would also be acceptable with that in mind.
If they were level specific their workload would increase ten fold and I don't know about you, but I think that's a lot of ideas to have to come up with, let alone testing and importing them into the game.
I do miss the missions we had before respo, but to be honest I didn't see anything with the old system we had where we had to wait to reach a certain level before we could take on the next mission.
Something in between the old system and weekly/monthly might be a possibility.
In line with what Rekker [1761] said, perhaps there could be some sort of competition or other which would be much easier to incorporate. Thus allowing the programmers to issue us with more robust missions say perhaps on a monthly and, or level specific basis. Would still keep us occupied and take the excessive workload off by not being required to release multiple level specific weekly missions.
Now that's annoying and totally out of the ordinary. If I want to add X number of a certain item to my bazaar I can enter the number I wish to sell. If I want to purchase X number of a certain item from someone's bazaar I can enter the number I want to buy, yet when it comes to exchanging flowers or plushies I need to do them each individually. To 'Exchange a full set of plushies/flowers for 10 points, you require the following'. I know what I require thank you. What I want is an option to edit the amount I want to exchange in one hit. Is that too much to ask? I can freely deposit or withdraw any amount of $ I see fit in my bank, vault, or off shore if I have the funds do so, yet when it comes to exchanging plushies/flowers there's a road block coupled with a stop sign. I can not exchange more than one of each at a time for 10 points.
Surely there should be an edit text box available in the museum allowing exchanges of more than one of each item per exchange onClick for those who have large amounts they wish to exchange.
It's not as though we travel abroad and can only purchase one item each per click. We are given the opportunity to buy them in bulk, why not exchange them in bulk in the museum.

I am then receiving an error message as follows "Only valid numbers or shortcuts allowed". After further testing it makes no difference what quantity I attempt to enter into the text box I always get the same resulting error message and walk out of the ammo shop empty handed. Hitting any numerical key on my keyboard inserts a zero into the text box and from there you've got no hope, but to give up and walk off in disgust, swearing under your breath at the gun shop owner Big Al and threatening to return with a full clip to teach him a lesson. He'd better hope I can't buy Armalite ammunition anywhere. You call this customer service? I'll make it look like an accident

What's the deal with overdosing on xanax. Today I had no sooner returned from rehab in Switzerland with 0 addiction to drugs before taking one xanax, or so I thought, and BAM!! You pop a few Xanax pills in to your mouth and down a glass of water. A headache is followed by nausea and vomiting. You must have overdosed!
Turns out I had taken a few pills and not just the one I had intended to take and lost the lot. energy, happy, nerve; all gone. I understand the effects of overdosing on drugs, particularly xanax, but I was clean and it's not the first time this has happened to me in the last month.
Any explanation as to why one would overdose when stepping off the plane with a squeaky clean bill of health would be much appreciated as I cannot seem to find an answer to this question anywhere.
I hope that that's all it was. Just seems to me an odd thing to have done, and I can not for the life of me imagine why I would have done such a thing especially as selective as the deletion was, and I certainly have no recollection of doing so and hope it was nothing more serious such as an account hack. No idea what's happened here or if it has effected anyone else, but I seem to have lost all but two of my events from 2020 in the past few days. It's as though they have been deleted and I know for a fact that I didn't do it. Everything was sailing along smoothly until 30/12/19 then the next two events were 01/01/20. All good so far, but wait for it. next time stamped entry is 27/06/21. 17 months of events have been deleted by someone and the results are the same on Microsoft Edge Windows 10 laptop as they are on Android phone using the Chrome browser Curiouser and curiouser. Is it real estate? The thlot pickens.
I'd have done so very happily and will do should it happen again, but I just logged in now and my first attempt was successful. Seems as though Big Al has dodged a bullet, for now at least. Bizarre. I did nothing different and this time it worked as intended. Thank you to all who responded with advice and suggestions.

Just now attempted it on mobile and although behaving differently the end result was the same and I left the store empty handed. Whilst attempting to type 1800 into the text box the 8 becomes a 0 before I could even think of continuing.

Recently initiated an attack on an easy target before realizing I had the wrong weapon equipped for the mission.
I figured I'd try to escape and launch another attack without making any hits.
Clicking "escape" was not doing anything.
Trying to log out to let the 5 minutes run down was not doing anything.
The 5 minutes counted down with no hits from either party.
Found myself in hospital with zero life while they were in perfect health and free to carry on with whatever they were doing.
Doesn't make a lot of sense to me.
How can one not escape without making a hit, and even more so how can (for example) a 100 day old lvl 10 hospitalize a 3000 day old level 80 if you get my drift?

Of course something needs to be done about it. It doesn't make sense. Intentional change or not, why state that it will take a specific amount of time to arrive at your destination, when it doesn't? And what has been gained by making the change? Why go to all that trouble to + or - 3% on travel times when there was nothing wrong with the system in the first place?
That's all well and good, but what's being done about it? It's doing my head in. I am definitely a frequent flyer and have been since I hit lvl 15, with no intention of changing that in the near future, but this is ridiculous...
I have noticed it doesn't seem to happen on short trips, but the further you fly, the greater the variance.
What's the point of varying travel times +- 3%. Who could possibly gain from this? NOT the travellers and the non-travellers either don't know or don't care.
eg. It quite clearly states it will take one hour and 51 minutes to fly from Torn to the UK, but on take off it says it will take either a few minutes more or less than the stated time. Get it sorted someone, please.
I think the idea has merit. Now all you need to do is convince Ched that it does. If you decide to pursue it with the powers that be you have my support.
Thank you for your reply Marc. I know how to log out of torn completely as I have been playing for years. Not only had I logged out, I had also closed the tab in which Torn was open before I opened my email and proceeded to log back into Torn through it.
I am well aware that torn has nothing to do with managing my passwords and never suggested that it did if you read my post correctly. I said When I clicked on the link in the email the username and password shown was the original ones I had created my account with and that when I went to change them to the correct/current/chrome saved ones I was not given the bonus. Obviously because it was seen as my logging in as manual and not as a link through the email.
I have just tried again now and again done exactly as was instructed in the email like the many before it . Don't know what caused the problem to be honest, but either way, this time it has been a success and I have received my 250e.
I also did not receive my 250 bonus even after following the instructions in the email on how to claim it. When I attempted to log in through the email link the torn login screen opened, but still had my user name 'Atlan' in the username field and my old password in the password field. These credentials are no longer valid since the security threat several months back when username became your email address and password was [password removed] for us.
Without thinking I hit login which obviously failed due to the reason I have stated above. I then entered my email and new password and success, I was logged in. Alas, I was not granted the bonus 250 e as promised.......
When I open the torn login page from my bookmarks chrome has saved the log in credentials so there is no messing about keying in or having to remember passwords etc, but the email link reverted back to what my login credentials were when I first opened an account. Obviously this fails and then asks if you have forgotten your password. Surely there must be a way around this as obviously I am not the only one who is facing this dilemma.
Well I have just added my rendition of it as can be seen above to suggestions, but if our fearless leader likes it the way it is then so be it. Just thought it might be simpler for all of us. Thank you for your input.
