Welcome to TORN for all NEW players who wants to understand the game and wanted to have some fun
I will help you and also teach you the best ways to achieve missions without wasting unnecessary energy or nerve.
Lets get started
First right after you created your account you will see George's Tutorial Missions page
You can see on the left side of the screen
Your Name, Money you had 750 $, Level: 1, Points: 0,
Refills: 20 (very useful dont waste them)Below them energy, nerve, happy and life bars in the Information section
Below them you can see Account and Areas section
On the center of page you can see the Missions page directly opened for you
Where old man George ask us to complete some tasks and missions
Getting Started
This is one of the easiest Tasks to complete just simply click the Home button (it will be blinking) you can see it to the left side bar in the Areas section 1st one is the Home
Click it, and then you can see your home page (This is your home, you can get here at any time by clicking it on your sidebar. It shows most of your details, for instance your attacking stats and the property you are living in. If you ever need information about yourself, here's where to come.)
Stats are the life line in the Game the more Stats you have the better chances of Getting more in torn for that you need to go to GYM (again u can see blinking in the Areas section) click Gym just click 1 Train button in any one of those 4 options remember only one click not more dont waste energy
Job gives us money and specials for starters we get 3 job options only
For this we had to go to Newspaper (blinking again in Areas section)
You can see a blink on the center of page JOB LISTING click it
You will have 6 job options but only 3 are suitable to us in starting stage
Army, Grocer, Casino in these 3 you can choose any one as you like
My choice is Grocer where you can make to top within few days
Once you have chosen your desired job they will ask you 3 interview questions
Answers to those questions are as below

Grocer a. Which one of these fruits does not grow on tree? - Strawberries

- Tell them to leave their name and number, and we'll order it in for them.

- Exchange their credit back to cash and leave
- Start an education course
Again go to Areas section you can see the blinking of education for choosing right education i had another thread so just choose any education you like now my options is General studies where u get all 3 stats cover. Join any course where it takes 1 week for starter course and it will cost u some energy and some money too .
Just click the city link which is shown on the Areas section.
Dummy bashing
1.
Buy a melee weapon from Big AlFor this go to city in city you can buy in Big Al shop or in the item market no problem
I prefer item market where we can get cheap weapon for now. After going into the city u can see MAPS all building if its confusing to you click the Quick Links option then u can again see the blinking of Big AIs shop in the East side click it and buy the Hammer
After buying you can Equip it directly there it will be blinking (Equip Item) after clicking it you can get (You equipped your Hammer.) or you can go to your items which will be below home option and select the item you want to equip by the + symbol
- Search for an NPC called Test Dummy #3
It will be highlighted in the missions only just by clicking it you can directly go to that person named as Test Dummy 3 or just type the name Test Dummy on the search box on the top and you can see and buy clicking the name u can go to that person.
- Attack Test Dummy #3 with your melee weapon
On going to that person profile you can see Attack button with a gun symbol blinking, Click that button (you need to have 25 energy to attack someone) then attack page will be opened click Start Fight button you can see all the guns and weapons u equip in the left side is yours on the right side is other person click on the weapon you want to use, If you see Green colour with number means you have strike if u see red light means the enemy strike you, you had to complete the attack by clicking the weapon again and again until it shows the options you had won, after winning you can see 3 options LEAVE(100%),MUG(50-60%),HOSPITAL(>25%) these are the experience you gain, means if u leave some one after attack u get 100 % experience, after that you can see your Attack Log.
- Use remaining energy in gym
You know where the Gym is now just dump all the rest of energy in the Gym means Train any one or all 4 Trains your choice
Exploring the City #1- Explore the Casino Blinking on the Areas or you can go through city Maps,click it.
- Explore the Dump Go to City if ur using map u can see the dump in pink colour on the right side corner of city, if ur using quick links u can see dump blinking in the Red-light area click it .
- Explore the estate agent again city in map you can see it yellow colour building in quick links in the east side it will be blinking click it.
- Explore the item market again city in map you can see it in yellow building only in quick links in the north side blinking click it.
- Explore the forums you can see Forums option on the top side middle of Page next t o News and before Help, Click it.
Criminal Methods (Areas- Crimes ) which uses Nerve
- Make $25 searching the streets
After clicking the crimes button, you can see lots of options, we want 1st option search for cash click it, if u want to make good money in this search in movie theatres by 3 searches u can easily make $25.
- Make $50 selling copied media
Crimes 2nd option Sell copied Media, click it, sell action dvd to get more cash here we are using our FIRST REFIL THAT IS FOR THE NERVE click the refill to fill the nerve bar after that continue what you had to go and get $50.
- Successfully shoplift some sweets
Crimes 3rd option in that go to sweet shop and take first one a few chocolate bars (You walk home with the big box of chocolate bars, feeling happy for yourself.)
- Sell a stolen item back to the shop
Go to city you know how to go to sweet shop just by map or by going to quick link find it and sell the box which we stole back to her.
Guns, Ammo & Other playersYou can buy weapon in big AI or in the item market
After buying it equip it
In items menu on the top side you can see ammo locker after clicking it , the one which is blinking or in the dark colour is the one u need to buy ammo, buy some 10 bullets
- Search for a player named xxxxxxx
Search for the player which George mention for you in the search bar or you can directly click the highlighted name and it will take u to that person
Make sure you had 25 energy dont waste refill for this if u dont have energy wait till u get 25 energy and attack and use gun this time click on gun and win against that person and leave him .
Exploring the City #2- Explore the hospital- Areas Hospital click
- Explore the jail- Areas- Jail click
- Explore the city bank- city in map in blue colour on the bottom side of the city, in quick link financial Bank, click it just invest 100$ in bank for 1 week u get 1 merit.
- Explore the church- city in maps on the top side pink colour , in quick links North side church, click it
- Explore factions- Areas Factions (dont join any faction unless u know someone from that faction or it is shouldnt be in war).
Effective Stat Building((
Now here we are using refill for energy in the gym one more time, before that you need to have a Donator Pack (DP), you can get this in 3 ways:
-Buying it from donator house where u had to spend real life $5 dollars to get for 31 days.
-Buying it from item market it costs around $24 to26million Torn money.
-If u had a face book account play torn in FB and reach level 5 and connect Fb account with your Torn main account this will give u 1 merit and 15 days donator pack and 1 goodie pack which will cost 25million and 1 book and some level gaining experience too, its very easy to reach level 5 in FB it took me just 30 minutes. (check my another thread Socialist Merit for completing this task ) Once you had the DP your energy bar will increase to 150 and it take just 10minutes to regenerate 5 energy, rent a property it might be villa, penthouse, ranch, mansion, palace, castle, private island you can rent any one make sure you get max happiness of 1000+ then buy some candy in sweet shop and eat all until your happy bar is at full))- Increase your strength to 12 Gym- use 10 energy for train u get 12
- Increase your dexterity to 12 Gym- use 10 energy for train u get 12
- Increase your speed to 12 Gym- use 10 energy for train u get 12
- Increase your defence to 12 Gym- use 10 energy for train u get 12
- Increase any stat to 15 Gym- use 90/60 (depending upon with DP or not) energy for train on any one of the 4 to make it 15.
Exploring the City #3- Explore the hall of fame Areas Hall of fame ,click it
- Explore the points building- City Maps it will be in yellow colour next to item market, quick link it will be in North side blinking, click it
- Explore the points market- same as above
- Explore the donator house- city- Maps you can find it in the bottom centre with blue colour, quick links u can find it in the financial blinking, click it.
Well on your way- Buy some armour- City- item market buy any armour
- Acquire and move into a new property- city estate agent dont buy it in there on the top side u can see rental market click it and choose any property with over 1000+ happiness for rent it will be cheap and move in there .
- Earn an Award if u had already invested in the bank this will automatically come if not do it now and u will clear this task
- Level up to level 2 by doing this entire task you will automatically reach level 2 if not just train in gym and do crimes with nerve you will reach level 2.
Now you all might be wondering when we are going to use the remaining 18 refills its now only, before that DP(u can play in fb and get that 15 days DP, if u cant play in fb talk with me i will provide u fund to buy a DP) is must as it will give good results and a property rental or own with over 1000+ happiness full all that happy bar by eating candy and train all those 150/100 energy you got into gym and train yourself hard until u can make those stats to decent like 400 over all means each stat about 100 is good .
there are some easy ways to reach level 15 with in 10 days for that you had to be active daily and you can find some targets in forums search for them
Finishing gift i like to add few tips to make good money in the game
1. travel for flowers and plushies (level 15 +) u can make 10m a day if u know ur goods
2. trading, buying stuff from torn and bulking them and selling them for more value
3. people pay for losses 200k to 400k depends upon the person if u can make 6 losses u can easily make 1.5m
4. good paying job once after level 3 u can be taken into companies where ur salary will be based on your stats
5. Casino, its one of the easiest way to gain money at the same time to loose also so be careful (Poker where new players will have additional benefit)
