With the advent of Ranked War and Advanced/Legendary Weapons, the once mighty Dual Melees have seemed to gotten the short end of the stick and their usefulness/valuations have dropped as a result.
I feel like they deserve better treatment.
I propose adding some kind of weapon bonus to the dual melees.
Dual Samurai Swords: Bonus: Double Slash - % chance to hit twice, 2nd hit @ 150% of speed and ignores 50% of opponents dexterity Percentage Range: 10-25% Note: Japanese Blade edu bonus still applies
Dual Axes: Bonus: Double Crush - % chance to hit twice, 2nd hit at 150% of strength and ignores 50% of opponents defense Percentage Range: 10-25%
Dual Scimitar: Bonus: Double Slice - % chance to hit twice, 2nd hit ignores 50% of opponents dexterity Percentage Range: 10-25%
Dual Hammers: Bonus: Double Smash - % chance to hit twice, 2nd hit @ 150% of your strength Percentage Range: 10-25%
Not sure if the balance is right on the bonuses but really open to any good suggestions... I just feel like we need some buff to them...
The castle wizard looked deep into his crystal ball and gasped... A danger has arisen that will threaten the kingdom’s peace. An Assassin has made its way within the castle walls and has disguised themselves among the palace guards. He must tell the King!

This is a variant on the traditional mafia game that I’ve been meaning to try out... While this game draws upon similar concepts, the game plays a little differently. It’s a bit experimental in Torn but hope you find it fun.

Game overview/Roles:
14 player game
1 Assassin — Goal is to Identify and assassinate the king ( or queen). The assassin has a one shot kill that can be used at any point in the game, including after being selected to be lynched.
1 King/Queen - Must stay alive
12 Guards - Know the identity of the King, but not each other. Sworn to protect the King
Every day, players will discuss and vote on who they believe is the assassin. Days will last 24 hours. At the end of each day, the player with the most votes will be killed off.
There is no Night phase (or Night kill). As soon as the day is over and a person is lynched, gameplay continues to the next day.
The assassin wins if they can correctly identify who the king is.
The Kingdom wins if the assassin is unable to find the king.
If the assassin is caught (voted out), their role will be revealed and they will be given a chance to use their one shot kill.
Rules:
1) No talking outside of the thread. Keep all Kingdom discussion pertinent to the game within this thread.
2) Everyone must vote each day for a current alive player. You cannot vote “no vote”-
First missed vote will result in warning. Second missed vote may be subject to modkill or replacement.
3) Ties mean a player will be picked by RNG to be killed off. (In other words in the event of a tie, Anyone can die, including the king)
To clarify... In the event of a tie, one currently alive player will be chosen by RNG regardless of whether they are involved in the tie or not (including the king and assassin)
4) No posting of any role pms. Not sure why you would but don’t...
5) Day will end at 01:00 TCT. All votes must be in by then in order to count for that day, regardless of whether I’ve posted results...
6) Please vote in bold or ALL CAPS. (Ex. Vote Jonasty; VOTE JONASTY). You may change your vote by unvoting.
7) Do NOT edit voting posts. Any voting posts that have been edited will be ignored and thrown into the fire.
Have fun!

Youfind a Freddie mask and rubber claws lying next to the tree where CJ usually hangs out.
A letter nailed to the tree reads:
To the cast and crew of “Don’tBlink”:
I lived a lonely life... some might say boring and vanilla, but mostly good... Still, being an involuntary loner for most of my life has led me down the dark path that you find me in today...
I’ve decided that life really is not worth living anymore and that it is far better served (and potentially more interesting) in the afterlife, as a ghost among these woods...
If you care to save me, you will find me by the big willow tree near the river... by now, I will have taken a cocktail of drugs and surely my body is comatose... if you care to save me, you have a few hours and I will be strengthened and heartened by you caring, kind souls and will be your greatest ally in your time of need... if not, c’est la vie and I will see you in another lifetime (especially she who will not be named... you know who you are....I’m coming for you first)...
Whatever you decide, know that I will be content...
The eggs don't reward age necessarily... they reward activity... which I think is appropriate and intended.
Citizens that have trained/played to get those stats... cool... nice bonus for you
New citizens, you can get that bonus too if you put in 15+ years of activity...
Why should newer or medium players to catch up immediately to someone that has put in 15+ years of gameplay based on finding one egg... at the same time, what incentive would a player who has been playing for 15+ years have in participating if the rewards weren't lucrative
Also, the eggs are randomly found... so, it's not like you're entitled to a gold egg just cuz you have a 3 digit ID.
Since they're not tradable either, it isn't super game breaking... it really just is a fun aspect of the game
It is clearly ann advantage to multi/collude because poker is largely an information game and having more info definitely gives you an advantage. I agree about that...
However, I really don't think there are many players that are good enough to wield that information properly and well enough to make a difference long term.
And the players that are good enough to do so don't really need to resort to such tactics because.... well... they're already better than 95% of the player base....
Plus, sometimes fish just make dumb plays that look like collusion but really is just bad poker or bingo plays... Im interested to know what kind of plays you're seeing that support your allegations of collusion.
