Saying that, both above would likely become redundant at that point. Timezone and the day will always play a part in wars. There's no middle ground & the likely response to whatever we suggest(ie, no mercs for X period or popped to Ok status) will likely be deemed as "if it's not broke don't fix it". 

So at what point do your stats, gear setups, planning, counter-planning etc all come into effect except for the standard "let's wait for their downtime" - by which point most facs turtle up anyway one way or another(mercs, inside hits, war hits used as turtling, bounties etc).

The principle use of ranked warring does not get used because terming will inevitably always exist in some form & turtling will always be a thing. Removing the initial pre-war stage will actually see wars engaged in a better manner to perhaps again, encourage folk to test themselves as a unit instead of "ok we'll take participation/x%.. gg go next".

Ps, not stirring stuff betweem you all. Just figured I'd chip in with my thoughts to a comment that I do agree with.

Personally a fan of all players being popped out of Hosp/Jail as the war starts. Means to avoid leakage, you need to actively engage and have your members self hosp should a merc hit not be available due to 60sec timer. Also gives factions a chance to better plan how to put these Offliners into a rotation whilst initially engaging to prevent those outside hits.

That brings to question, when if ever would an accumalator service and/or better betting selections be available? As I understand, Torn pays for a sport and markets for said sport therefore additional markets can increase the cost price.

Do need to highlight the post by Gyllas here, I can read so I'm aware of what you've said & strongly discourage gambling via alternate routes as they are shady & coded for the house to succeed - but I can't seem to do anything bar agree with Gyllas. 

The scope of this thread from my perspective and perhaps a minority of others is that a decision was made regadless of a thread/poll(I am aware as I've read your newest replies to this comment) - however - it does seem and rightfully so a minority of genuinely run services are being downed on the provisions of other types of services that I can't comment for but wholely agree that many of the games these sites/servers host are scripted to the highest degree.

MbM however, is not like that. I can get the whole "buy in" scenario being depicted here but outwith that - the service is using Torn & betting market APIs(due to using Torn bet logs) and not a scripted function that suits the house.

How does Torn move forward from here? Despite already making a decision prior to this thread(agree to disagree there), will there be any provisions thought of to allow genuine services the chance to continue to function one way or another?

I understand the reasoning behind this. To clarify, MbM aren't one of those casinos. More an external bookmaker as such? They exclusively provide an accumalator option - that staff provided in Bookie 1.0(via forums for a period of time) but this is the only thing those that crave the function returning have.

All these 3rd party pot luck scripted games would be different, no? I'd ban those but wouldn't MbM fall under a seperate category as scripting doesn't apply & odd calculation is based solely on the Torn event logs provided in accumalation - with extensive details provided in transparency to users.

Edit: Just seen your new post, winnings would be paid from other users losses would be my assumption. Winning 1 bet never mind multiple towards 1 payout is impossible

Personally against this but on the sole purpose is that I use a discord server(Multi Bet Madness) to place accumalator bets. They are legit, run competitions & are in some ways, a community. The way to bet is pasting your torn bet log(You have placed X on X at X).

Whilst I agree these functions are overpopulated at current, Torn has had the chance to capatalise in that regard & improve the Casino.

If you mean rabbit [1995921] on Torn, I can see why you might have that impression 😂 — but the public evidence I found doesn't establish that he's broadly regarded as a “twat.”

What is visible from his forum history:

• He's been a very long-term, highly active Torn player, with thousands of forum posts and substantial karma.

• He has a fairly blunt / argumentative posting style in some discussions. For example, in a 2025 recruitment-policy thread he pushed a particular interpretation of the rules quite directly.

• He's also been around the community for years, including posting about betting, companies, game issues and general forum topics.

• His TornStats history also shows him participating in wars, so he's not merely a forum-only account.
