So, a few months ago I wrote that I was terrified of my exams. Every day, for about a month, someone sent me money and motivational messages. I don't know who you are, but I want you to know I appreciate you so damn much.
I managed to pass all four of my exams in one go, which apparently isn't too common! I got distinction in one of them, a merit in two, and just a pass in the fourth exam. So yeah, I'm pretty stoked. Who ever you are, thank you so much! You're far, far too kind :)
Eve Online is somewhat like Torn but in space and with actual graphic. Everything in game is ran and made by players. If you like Torn I'm sure you'll like EvE. So I was wondering if anyone here plays it already?

For the past few days I've been getting the "State of Emergency" window every time i'd log into the game. What are those? I tried to search through the forum but the function doesn't work.
That's a very kind message, thank you :) I am in Europe and sadly any and all things related to Satanism, Witches, Paganism etc are frowned upon. Like, people wouldn't really care if you tell them you're pagan, but if you tell them you do rituals, or that you belong to CoS, it could cripple you. Much like in USA, I'd assume, but because of that here in Europe we have a lot less open followers than over there. So whilst I've heard of great orgies you spoke about, sadly I have never - and I doubt I ever will - participated in one. Hell, even finding a single Satanist (that I didn't fear would kill me because they worship actual Satan) was next to impossible here.
I'll proceed to do what I am and just keep an eye out on things related to CoS and TST without actually being in such organizations. I genuinely do believe their causes are good and they have good ideas but just like you said, the people behind them... I wouldn't trust them. I just can't. I also know very little of Crowley so I haven't formed any opinions of him just yet.
Exams are in less than a month. I'm trying to change my career entirely. I'm currently a mechanical engineer, but I joined a course that allows me to become an accounting technician. It's supposed to be a stepping stone into my accounting career. I'm supposed to do another year of that, then do three years to become a chartered accountant, and then maybe do two or three years to get a bachelors in accounting too.
Yet due to recent events in life - death of a pet, separation from (ex?) wife, becoming the main engineer at work and being switched over to permanent night shifts have just made it next to impossible to focus and study.
And now, less than 3 weeks from now, I have exams. This course was so much work. If I don't pass it, I have another chance in August, but I just can't handle this stress anymore. All I do is study and try to keep positive but it's just too damn much. Especially as I'm in a country where I am entirely by myself. I know no one here as I moved into the town just before corona hit. And the colleagues, being engineers and all, just don't want to hang out with anyone after work. I know my friends circle would expand greatly as an accountant, but that's still months away - and only if I do pass the exams.
Anyway, I just wanted to rant as it's all getting a tad too real.

I'm really glad to hear you came around! There's nothing more motivating than to hear someone else's success stories when they definitely had it rougher than I ever did.

It's exam season so I'm trying to stay away from as many games as possible, but right now I occasionally play WoW Classic, Warhammer Vermentide 2 and Conan Exiles. Also Phasmophobia. I love me good old Phasmophobia.

But I would also put How I Met Your Mother on the list. I liked The Community but it would probably be the furthest down on my list as I wasn't a fan of the show past season 3.

Hello all! I don't believe in any of this myself, but my ex wife was a Pagan. She's American but believed in the Irish gods so I am quite familiar with the basics - mostly about the got called Cernunnos. I used to follow LaVey Satanism but when I found out they're mostly just a bunch of assholes who believe in proper magic, I just got out and decided to just be an atheist that follows some of LaVey teachings (self empowerment is great as long as you're not being a dick to others :) )
The're posting an announcement of the Mafia 1 remake. If rumors are correct the game itself is coming out on 28th of August this year. I've only player Mafia 1 a little bit, but Mafia 2 is, by far, one of my favorite games. Is anyone else as excited as I am about this??
