Is it possible to live in one property but use the vault in different one? (i.e. Could I rent a property but store my money in a vault in a different property I own?)

For Nash (and everyone else here),
You specifically mention stealing Jackets for the Shoplifting crime. Is this because stealing Jackets may yield more experience than stealing Chocolate Bars (which is what I currently do)? And/Or is it because the success probability is higher?
