Is it Flutterfly [2100459]?
I think it would be interesting if when you tapped on a territory, on the pop-up, there was a button to view its history. The history would include date factions took it, which faction took it, how long each faction had it, and all war results. Maybe there could be two tabs, one for general history and one for time held.
The history page might look something like this:

Claimed by [Faction D] 12/4/15
[Faction B] abandoned territory 12/3/15
[Faction C] failed assualt 5/11/15
[Faction B] took territory 4/28/15
Claimed by [Faction A] 4/12/15
Time held:
Faction A: xx days

Faction D: xxx days
Edit: A few have mentioned it could get cluttered, and I have noticed my faction do a few territory wars where we were instructed to do nothing. I have no idea what the purpose was, but that would be logged in the history, and it would add clutter. So, I think maybe just keep the time held history. It would look as shown above, but we might also stick another counter by each one. Number of Defends won. It might help with the pre-war research, even if the number may be a little high from various wins where the goal was not to take the territory.

This is me trying not to lose a thread with my name on a scoreboard cuz I like being on scoreboards.
Usually on mobile just press and hold, adjust highlight, option'll come up to copy/paste. This has been so for every phone I've tried anyway.
Ever been to the Texarkana Duck races? We go to the local waterpark once a year and dump thousands of rubber ducks in their lazy river, This reminds me of that....

I'm personally enjoying the game, so wanted to down vote... but loved the dated pictures, especially the system virus scan.
Points about wars being stale seem valid enough, can't say I'm involved enough for my opinion to matter.
Elimination makes me excited for Torn. Trying not to go inactive again at least until the next elimination. Very sad Elim participation counter doesn't count Elims from before the counter was added. I've been in 3, not zero. Sad Egg collected counter has same inaccuracy problem. I collected many eggs in Torn in the years before I went inactive, but this year it read that I'd never found an egg before.

Do the perks still benefit as an employee or is it more of a director only thing? I'm almost done with all my edus, only 2 bachelor's remain. If business edu perks benefit even for having employee status, then Business would be the better to finish first. If they're only applicable to directors, I don't intend to be a director, and these are all completely useless, and the other category should be my priority. The other remaining category doesn't have much relevant perks to my playstyle either but it's still more beneficial than useless.

Sometimes tabs won't close. It fixes easily by restarting the Torn app, but it's happened about 5 times over the last 7 days. It usually occurs when I'm reading in the forums, click a link someone's posted, and finished reading the new tab. When the close tab button isn't working, everything else still functions. I can switch between tabs and navigate to other pages on all tabs when the close tab button doesn't work. Other buttons on same bar (home, refresh) still work when close tab doesn't. Refreshing does not make close tab work.

I don't remember my first day, but I discovered on my first day back that someone messaged me a year ago asking me to aid them in lowering their enemy count by removing them from my enemy list. I'm still laughing mildly amused that someone sent a message to a player who was at that time 4 years inactive.
So far I've found 2 SEs in the city. Oran tried to buy my first one, but I was new to Torn and didn't trust this stranger who is very interested in my highest value item, so I kept it. I thought about Oran's comments for a while, decided they were probably right, and sold it to some other trader a while later for far more than Oran offered. Later I found a second one, was about to use it, but at the same time a thread popped up in the forums about some idiot new player using an SE. So I stuck my SE in my display case, out of sight out of mind, for when I actually had battle stats that it wouldn't be wasted. Then about 2 weeks ago I decided to quit Torn and sent it to a friend, I think I have about 2 more days before everything is ready for inactivity. And no, I've already distributed my valuables to friends. My remaining Networth is stuff like a buncha plushies and some untradeable stuff.
Giving y'all a parting bump. I won a bunch of stuff from here a long time ago, never bothered giving you recognition here. Thanks! (I can't even estimate the value I won from here, maybe $30 million? Could be more, but at least that much.)

Well, some high level dude (in Torn) advertised Torn in a chat box on a website that said that. I ended up checking out Torn without using their referral link, but added them as having referred me after a couple of days. I'm now sad about that, because I don't want that dude to get benefits for me leveling up, because I eventually learned that person just wanted new accounts around for the dog tag competition. If I could remove them as having referred me, even though they did, I would.

The only logical change that comes to my mind is if
Attack (negative social event) = treat (positive), then
Revive (positive social event) = trick (negative)
But I have no idea how tricks could be used as a currency or anything, and I'm quite happy with the current system.
As a reviver, I haven't done many revives lately so my opinion is irrelevant. I'm not currently reviving.

It wouldn't be a wand of destruction if it wasn't a mace. Imagine getting hit in the face with a Harry Potter style wand. Imagine getting hit with a mace. Which causes more destruction? A mace is just wand with a bulky end.

And so I'm wondering why April 3rd. All I've found through google was France lost the Battle of Sabugal on April 3rd, which means it also would be a celebratory day... Can someone help me understand this joke, if it is one?

I've heard Elimination was made to replace a world war event or something. Can someone describe the old event, or reply with a link to information on it, the differences in it and elim, and/or why it needed to be removed?

I've seen threads asking for this every few months, It was long before my time. I'd prefer a few screenshots of what Torn had to see what Torn used to be like rather than reimplement something that was removed so long ago, and I think there's even been 2 newspaper articles which had stuff like that (Torn histories, using a web history snapshot tool). However, I've not read Torn news in a long time, and I'm mostly just curious about the dog graphics, if there were any, since this is a text based game...
Unlike everyone else who has posted about factions, I joined them too early. Destroyed my win/loss ratio. Top 20 HOF factions didnt care about keeping everyone in the number 2000th something faction in hospital 24/7, it was respect was farmed then. Who cares about fair fights or new player growth. Back then, certainly nobody at the top.
