i miss the tiny part that i could simply clear my faction chat by opening it, then i got  new notification over it, showing me whats new since i last opened it.... :) :) 
Now i have to go into settings and click on mark all as read...
And that clears everything, Global/trade/hospital/country im in....

Imagine you're lying on your deathbed in the hospital, knowing you've only got like two days left... So you drink half a bottle of oil and eat a pound of corn.

Then, when they cremate you, there'd be popcorn popping inside the furnace.

Thanks for all the replies. I honestly didn't expect so many different perspectives.

It was interesting to see that people from completely different stages of the game seem to hit this point eventually. Some dive into trading, some get heavily involved with their faction, some set new personal goals, and some simply accept that Torn is more of a long term marathon than something that always feels exciting every day.

Reading through the replies actually made me realize that maybe I'm not really burned out, just stuck in a routine.

The events and wars still remind me why I enjoy the game, and maybe I just need to find another side project instead of only watching the numbers slowly go up.

I still think the road to things like my own armor and a revitalize gun feels very long, but hearing how others handled this stage definitely helped.
The funny thing is that when I calculated my yearly income and saw that I'm making around 12B just by keeping my routine, I realized I'm actually moving forward, just not as fast as I'd like. Maybe the problem isn't the progress itself, but that my goals are still so far away that it's hard to notice it day by day.

Getting to a point now, I’ve felt this for a long time in Torn, and I don’t really like it… I have my daily routines, I train, use my refill and take my  Xanax, do my crimes, check stocks, and then I’m basically done for the day. Except for the few times there’s war, of course, or some event in Torn that part is nice, I enjoy it alot.

But otherwise it feels very slow and kind of boring now… I also don’t really have the mental energy to deal with trading items with people like some others do to make money.

I still have long term goals in the game, like getting my own armor and a revitalize gun, but the road to get there feels really long right now, and it’s hard to stay motivated when progress feels this slow.

I also took the time to calculate what I actually make per year in Torn from what I do daily, and it comes out to roughly around 12B.

How do you guys deal with this stage? Did you change something, or did it just pass over time?

felt the same. Alot of money for that gains..

i make 4-9m per day, just training when im online.. and that cost me 3 xanax per day + refil haha :)

Sometimes people find an “easy target” with a lot of items in their bazaar. They wait until the items get sold, and then mug the player.

This way, the mug is more profitable because they don’t have to spend their own money buying the items first.

Only time i done it, is for when im reading a book for training, or halloween event
