I write this today to with a very heavy heart. Our beloved friend MadHatter has passed away.

I feel at a loss for words but I will try to do him right by explaining what an amazing person he was.

Mads list of achievements in this game are enormous. He was on the torn player committee. I wish I could remember the story, but he once told me how an idea he thought of was implemented into the game. It was an amazing thing for him to feel like he actually contributed to the structure of the torn we all now live in.
He was one of the original leadership of Lex Talionis (Now The Wolverines). He dedicated many years and countless hours to the Wolverine family. He will be eternalized in our halls. In our forums, in our reports, and in our members hearts.
MadHatter was so passionate about the game. He was an intense person. Whatever the goal he attacked it with full enthusiasm and because of that he got stuff done. He was also as competitive as you can get. Respect brother respect.
One of the things I absolutely loved about him. He could be an evil son of a bitch. I pride myself on being one mean f**ker to my enemies. But the MadHatter was a straight up stone cold assassin. He’ll get ya! Haha.
We caused so much havoc together. It was amazing. Many many good war times. What is torn if we can’t relish and embellish in destroying our enemies. I remember one time we were both smacking this dude over and over, just sitting in him. Talking shit to him the whole time. Stink bombing the whole works. And when he finally broke he said “Man I wish my leaders were as cool as you guys”. When your enemy respects you for the effort you’re doing something right. You were a true warrior MadHatter. I’ll never have another war buddy like you. I’m glad to have fought beside you.
MadHatter was a free spirit. He traveled the world with his job and he was kind of the same way in torn. He was a free spirit. He had many friends in torn and many enemies :) He played the game right.
