What has happened here is that I and nmelssx were stationed over in UAE to farm some targets over there and during the course, Hamburgler came along and hit nmelssx and took the dog tag and left, you were fortunate enough to escape when you did because I was looking for you. Now I understand you weren't to know the person you hit was in a war that's perfectly fine and you are well within your rights to attack whoever you like - not everyone checks a person's faction first before hitting - I'm sure had you of done so before you would have realised they are part taking in a war.

I have said in our faction chat that the bounding of you for 1m was an overreaction to that which it was but the person who placed the bounty at the time didn't exactly know of your intentions and this is where the error happens. (to some degree our war was interrupted by this but it's not the end of the word) Let this war be over and approach me and I will send you over an FHC or cans to make up for your lost E. - I'm doing this as a gesture of goodwill and I don't have to do this but I don't want any bad blood between people everyone should happy and have no hard feelings at the end of the day its a game and either party is right or wrong it's just one of those things where it happens in the moment.

and to finish this off - it's probably not the best idea to make a forum post asking for compensation for the bounty hit on you and you are losing the dog tag earned, this dog tag competition is brutal everyone is going to get hit one way or another - I've personally been hit multi able times today by members of IBB but it's an active competition and I understand that - I'm not too fussed.

Please in future - if there is any issue speak directly to each other instead of taking this to forums for political side stands as many people have pointed out its a live competition and no one dog tags are safe, just when your bountied your a bigger target than before but everyone will be hit that's just the nature of the beast I'm afraid

Probably an already-answered question and a dumb 1 but does the hazmat suit fit over the top of already armoured parts? - I'm aware if a body part isn't armoured already then the suit will provide limited protection to it.

Don't get me wrong I think this dex set is cool, but on the flip side being able to boost it to over 1000% effective on tyro seems a little unbalanced when defense can only boost to 720% when on sero (making sure each has full set plus set bonus and merits and strip club job) - i know this because got a few faction friends can boost dex on tyro 860%+ < combine that with a fall vanguard set plus set bonus will see that hit/pass 1000% effective

I've checked for all completed Edu's, and no personal perks, factions, or job perks could explain it. *edit: I've noticed it on EPI + TYRO as well, and no RW weapons equipped or have that would add extra to it, I can't say for sero at the moment*

This is an excellent suggestion. I've R+'d this as well. The 10m free bonus after 31 days seems weak when normal training figures in a month dwarf the amount gained by the book.

 

Also would be great if all those people who have already read the book and the new limit would allow for those 4 books mentioned to be re-read once more so everyone can benefit from the limit removal as wouldn't be fair if say the limit was removed for better gain. Still, users had already read it and couldn't benefit from the new gain if that makes sense.

I appreciate you are dealing with a high influx of bugs being reported with the new Chat 2.0 being released and I apologise if this has already been reported I'm sure this will be fixed later down the line, I just wanted to make you aware :)

When chat 2.0 was released I was in Switzerland rehabbing and travelled back to Torn at that moment I was on my mobile using my iPhone 13 Pro - on IOS 17.0.3 with the latest Safari version installed.

I've provided a screenshot below of the chat being stuck in the country on mobile but on PC running Firefox it's fine, do occasionally see closed chats reopen on their own too but I guess that's another matter. - it's saying Switzerland even while back in torn now. (unless this is intended) the last system would change depending on the country the user is currently in.

P.s I like the new chat somewhat just need to get more used to it :) - everyone hates change but change needs to happen to better the future

Hi Staff, I'm posting this as I believe a mission I just completed is bugged.

So the mission I was doing was "A Problem at the Tracks" to defeat 3 players without using any guns, torn tools hints say guns can stay equipped but using one will fail this mission. Whether this is true or not I don't know but I used my gun during this mission accidentally and i lost the first time and finished it a 2nd time and was able to complete the mission earning the credits.

I thought id post this to let you know if it's a bug or not or just Torntools wording being off but in any case wanted to highlight it to you in case.

Should be fun to see who emerges victorious in these having face both of you I think Ara Pacis will see the win out as when we thought you your coordinated efforts were insane, good luck all, will be watching on

Effect: Increases levelling EXP gains by 25% for 31 days.

My question to this does this include weapon EXP gain as well? As technically weapon exp is levelling no?

Just want a bit of clarity on this before I start reading the damn thing as would be nice to earn weapon exp towards the specialist merit for guns.

I think adding a self-excursion to buying bulk DPs is a great idea - something along the lines of adding extra messages when buying DPs like (you've currently spent x amount in the last few days on DPs) to make sure things are ok please answer a few extra questions to make sure they are ok with buying them could work I guess. Or another method would be to block out the donator page for one person for a set period and once the time has passed make the donator page accessible again but with limits on how much you are allowed to spend and stuff I don't know exactly what torn could put in place but something along the idea would be a good start.

Setting a spending limit If able to speak to a member of staff who can set a limit on how much one person can spend on buying donator packs with real money in a set period these little things could help users out, obviously like a confidential chat or any form of communication.
