I would like to be able to issue bonds so people can supply a corporation, faction or player with cash in exchange for interest.
I am trying to do it without such an instrument, but it's hard to prove I'm not just trying to take the money and run when there are no game mechanics preventing me from doing so. Therefore I would like to suggest a Duke-like of player-to-player loan that has dire consequences for the borrower if unpaid.
Variables: interest per month, amount per bond, total sum.
Goal: allow players to invest with others while reducing the risk

Google, Facebook and Microsoft are on another level in terms of infrastructure. What Google spends on security in a day could run Torn for a long while.
