I'll start with my favourite. It's lengthy but bear with me.

A famous musician was asked to perform for a cruel leader. He agreed, and he composed a nice piece of music to perform for him. When he was done performing, the leader was far from pleased.
"What is this crap? I'm sentencing you to death by electrocution!" he ordered.
The musician was asked what he requests for his last meal, and he said, "Just curry will do." It was a peculiar request, but he got the curry and was sent to the chair the next day.
He awaited his death, but to everyone's surprise, nothing happened when the switch was turned on.
"Maybe the higher powers have decided to give you a second chance. Perform for me again, and be sure to make it good this time."
The musician was pleased that he got his second chance, and took 2 days to compose his best piece so far. He practised daily with his orchestra team for a few days, and he performed with extreme care and focus.
The leader was disgusted. "Are you serious? You're done for. Death by electrocution!"
Once more, the musician was asked about his last meal. "Please do give me curry, a little spicier this time."
The guards obliged and he received his curry, spicier than his last one as requested. Yet once more, he did not die the next day when he was electrocuted. In fact, he was barely harmed! The leader took this as a sign that the third time's the charm.
"This is your last and final chance. I will give you three weeks to prepare for your 3rd show. Make sure that you perform as well as possible, or you will face my wrath."
The musician obliged. He spent a week composing his music carefully and practiced with his team 12 hours a day for the next two weeks. Finally satisfied, he went ahead and performed for the leader.
Just like the first and 2nd time, the leader did not approve.
"TO THE ELECTROCUTION CHAIR RIGHT NOW! AND NO MORE LAST MEALS FOR HIM, ESPECIALLY NOT CURRY!"
The musician sighed, and spoke up. "With all due respect, sir, it's not actually about the curry." The leader looked at him quizically. "I'm just a bad conductor."
Was just quietly making hits and didn't really chat in the elims chat or discord at all until it was basically over, but love the team <3 Smoothest elims I had since I joined Torn 7 years ago
PAST: Your lack of commitment to happy jumps in the game made your stats 17.5x lower than your spouse's - who started an entire month after you did. Bad choice, buddy. Bad choice. Should've set alarms for middle of the night so that you can take that next Xanax like your spouse did.
PRESENT: Stop searching the city hoping to find another dumbbell or parachute. You're already lucky you found them twice this year. Be grateful what the f**k.
FUTURE: You're not even putting any effort into the whole Miss Torn thing anymore. But wow, your commitment to the ugly contest is real. Hoping to win another paper bag again? Not going to spoil the results for you.
