But Torn City, the fictional City, is canonically located in the US, Texas. Hence, the Standard Flight time to UK taking several hours.  The reasoning is that a crime game set in the UK would be boring AF.  No guns, not even knives, and peaceful police.  America has a great mix of First-World luxury and Third-World savagery.  Because the game takes place in the US, flavor text reflects that.  The only difference in "launguage" is US removed a bunch of pointless "U"s from words.

1).  Thank you for setting a decent example on how to handle being scammed, you didn't make a whine post, or ask for help, you just accepted defeat.  You didn't even bring your daughter up until the PoS insisted on badgering you about it.  Instead of being happy they had the biggest scam I've seen in my short time here, they were mad you didn't cry and beg.

2).  I will also use this to be a better trader and make sure I triple check, so thanks for helping me out in that regard 

3).  My daughter died in 2015, I relapsed on dope because I needed an escape, and couldn't cope.  It's easy to judge someone from the outside, with limited info, but I fully understand how someone can only spend so much time in their current reality before needing a break.  Your family is lucky that for you, that means logging onto a phone game here and there, most of us don't have that in us.  Most of us crumble under the slightest pressure, much less the prospect of a parent outliving their young children.  If Torn is a good escape, use it, and if it is causing you more stress, then step away for a bit. 

It's easy to forget there's a human behind the screen name, but that's not an excuse to treat people badly.  Scam, mug, bounty, and steal if you want.  But leave it at that, you shouldn't need to masturbate over the thought of tormenting others, that's sociopathic.

Unless they went out of their way to delete the logs, it's impossible *not* to have a record of faction deposits/withdrawals.  100% these 2 fools strung along their newbs, rallied donations, and kicked the next day.  First, they accused the newbs of a conspiracy(even though their NetWorth skyrocketed and they each flew to Caymans), then acted like they paid some back (they didn't), then tried to ignore it, then acted like it was an honest mistake, then pretended to pay back again (except only 1% of what people are owed), now they changed their name and recruited new newbs to repeat the cycle.  All the members stories were consistent and unchanging, while the "leaders" have a new one every post directly contradicting each other.  At least get your stories straight...

And I thought I had it bad in SA where Champion beats me because I don't stay within the lines when coloring in his memes.  

So, I'll put my business out there to strangers because you all, especially MeanMike post, inspired me to share.  I lost my father very young to an OD, then my 18 year old kid brother a decade after that.  My mom, who was helping me raise my 6 year old daughter, and that same daughter died in 2015.  I was also a drug addict in and out of sobriety and that sent me over the edge for a while.  

But thanks to all that pain, and a desire to honor their memory, I've been sober 3 years, am in school to be a social worker, starting a job at a drug rehab as a peer support specialist, got married last Saturday(March 16 was my daughter's Birthday) and have all kinds of wonderful things I don't deserve based on my past actions, but don't take for granted today.

When I got the news that the last of my family were dead, I was the only one left, I could've never imagined being okay again.  I still get sad, feel guilty, regret things, and even want to give up, but those feelings are less and less regular and I don't have to live in them.  Today, I have choices and coping skills.

What helped was a huge recovery support network, grief support groups, psychiatrist and therapist, and finding friends I can talk to about real things, not just superficially.  I'm still a newb here, but have a great Faction family who all changed their Honor Bar to mine to honor my wedding.  Who sent me well-wishes and offered their ears if I needed to talk.  Torn has been a force of positivity in my life.  

I know you're the resident (among many) S***poster but this is a wonderful break from that, and I appreciate you looking out for your friend.  When he's through the darkness, he'll never forget who was there for him, I know I won't either.

I agree with this special case, but am generally uncomfortable with banning users over "bad" reviews. I haven't seen any evidence they take efforts to ban people for saying the app sucks, or other subjective complaints about Torn or staff. But, accusing them of harboring pedophiles, for the sole reason you're upset about getting caught with multis, shouldn't be tolerated.

Not only can they bring wackos firing rifles into your offices(if they're in US), but the abhorrent nature of those accusations causes people to disregard skepticism and assume it's fact. Because, what kind of horrible human would falsely claim such a thing?

Yes, you're wrong. While the big players can cause the price to lower, there's not much they could do to increase them more than a few thousand if they're coordinating. I have thousands of points that I'm holding but would sell if the price is right. And I'm still a newb and know there's thousands of players with more points who would also sell if the price rose drastically.

Scamming is allowed in that you won't get banned, but a lot of players don't look kindly upon scammers. Just because something is "legal" doesn't make it morally okay (and vice versa).

But, it seems you're the one who is "triggered"; crying in the forums over some bounties. If you're going to scam, you need to toughen-up.

I'm going to half-ass it. Use 1000e, take what I get, then go back to not worrying about it unless I'm there already and don't want to waste natural e. But I agree with your overall point. For most people, opportunity cost of stats/easier merits isn't worth worrying too much about hunting day. Would be cool if you could bring back "trophies", randomly dropped based on hunting skill or something like that. Even a direct copy of (now open-source) Oregon Trail hunting minigame would be a vast improvement.

Don't forget the "emotional support shitzu" that I carry in my purse on a plane while it proceeds to yap the entire 3.5 hour flight to UAE.

You can get a generated link from your "Recruit" tab that contains your referral URL. If you use that as your advertisement link then they don't even have to enter your name, it's already attributed to you.

I have more than 2 dozen signups, majority don't make level 3. But, I have 2 over 10 and one that's close so hoping for that 3rd merit soon. Don't know how I'll get the pyramid scheme but hopefully one day. My method doesn't rely on mistaken identities or clever wordplay(like "Nobody"), but instead a promise to invest in the players in a constantly visible spot. So, it's a lot more time and money invested to get them going. But, I enjoy roleplaying as a nice and helpful person so all good.

It would be trivial to add Google/Apple pay services through their respective apps, I'm sure they'll add that soon. Technically, they're not supposed to be using their own payment services there, both app stores don't allow it. So they will have to sooner rather than later. This doesn't apply to anything but the apps, of course.

But, PayPal allows you to checkout as a guest, simply using them as a payment processor for your Visa/Amex/MC without linking any accounts.

But, I'd urge anyone that's unhappy with their current faction to actually bring their concerns up with leadership(of your faction), since that's the people who could address them!  Otherwise, should probably find a Faction that better suits your playstyle.  But I'm happy that you're doing well and while you might still have friends in Sykoz and your new faction, if you continue using people you'll lose them too.

Dang wish I knew I could've been famous for my RNG luck. I had well over 100 Xanax before my first OD, at almost 40 days in.  Still been pretty lucky, think I've had 3 total with hundreds of Xanax taken. 

Best advice I can give you:

Ask staff to "Grave" this thread, edit all your posts here to be blank. Torn can be very unforgiving and you don't want to attract too much attention.

Train, train, train.  While they're wasting all their energy attacking randoms, you're hitting the gym getting strong.  Random attackers were my number one motivation.  I hung their profile picks up in the Gym.  Today, I can beat most of the people who targeted me 2 months ago. 

Don't take it personal.  While I did say Torn can be unforgiving, it also has some of the most genuinely great people I've met in any online game.  Find a faction that fits your playstyle, make some friends, and set some goals to achieve here.  There's really no consequences to getting beat in an attack.  You'll get your W/L ratio back up over time, and you'll easily surpass your bully if you focus on training.  In 100 days, when you can hospitalize them, you'll feel an amazing sense of pride and accomplishment.
