During my play through of the seemingly endless grind that is Torn, I've noticed a lot of older players...and at the same time, a lot of people who seem to be no older twelve years old. Maybe its immaturity, maybe it's old souls in young bodies...or maybe it's just my lack of awareness to how diverse Torn is in terms of the average age of players. So to satisfy my own curiosity..maybe i can find out the general age of the players here in the city.
It took me 30 attempts to progress enough to open the store....23 of which where successful., but the amount of progress i made with each successful attempt was random and varied.
So I guess it's exactly like real life....beg to the man in the sky to make your life easier and never actually get any confirmation of it......and now that I say that....it sounds absolutely ridiculous.....I'll take george carlins approach and prey to joe pesci.
Come on now, surely someone somewhere has determined what, if anything, praying does to benefit us. Or is it like real life where you pray thenn appoint responsibility to your preferred diety whenever something good happens?
You guys seem to be able to suss out almost everything else and I for one would like the general consensus on the matter.
Is there any way to check which area i need to scout? Almost at 100 skill with 31/34 Distinct targets burgled so not sure if i need to scout residential, commercial or industrial to keep going for the merit.
For about a week now the default zoom when i open torn has changed so that its too big to fit the screen. When i reduce the zoom to fit the screen text becomes too small to read without squinting.
Has there been some update I'm unaware of recently as i had no problem with text size before, now i basically NEED to zoom to see properly...which cuts essential parts of the interface out of view.

This is the reason the disc drive enchancer price is so high rn...demand has peaked and profit is to be made...until the next crime is released and then the applicable enchancer will also sky rocket.
