I was wondering if there are any plans in the works to allow use access to item stat information at all with the APIKey?

I see that we can get all the item information with the 'items' key and all of the inventory information with the 'inventory' key, but I was thinking if there could be a way possible to use a key like 'itemstats' at all so we can get the information that we would see when we click for the info in our inventory, stores, item market and stores.

Maybe it could look a little something like this:

itemstats.json

Or is it possible that I might have missed a key that has that information in it as well???

I know that there is a lot that is required of you guys, but I figured I could just make the request, if possible.

I do have a couple of more suggestions as well, but I don't want to bite off more than I can chew.

I was messing around with the API and I discovered that I was able to find out players' personal information that, I thought, should be able to be obtained at all. I was discovering personal stats and net worth information for other players using my API key instead....Or am I wrong for bring this to the thread?

I have posted an image so you can see that it is clearly not my "player_id" and "name" keys, but you can clearly see that there is a "networth" key in the personal stats section toward the bottom. I did render the json using Firefox after I discovered it utilizing the API website. I also did find a player, which there are quite a few to choose from, to display this information so I wasn't putting someone else's information at risk.

If I am wrong about this, please disregard my ignorance on this topic. But, I don't ever remember being able to access this part of the API for other players.

A "tool" would be a script, application, website or any other possible way that uses an API call that utilizes the information from the server.

If they are willing to give you their API key and know that you are using it for a purpose, (such as you being a faction leader and using the API key to monitor and gather information on all your faction members), then it should not be an issue at all, unless you are exploiting this information. The user can always request an API key change if they decide to revoke your access to their API information, as well.

An example of exploiting would be selling users API keys or Information for in-game or real-world currency.

I retract my report then. I have forgotten about the detailed personal stats page that we can pull up. Thank you for pointing out my error.

Where on the bottom of the personal stats page are you referring to? Here is an image of your personal stats page for everyone to see.

Yes, there may be a lot of information that you can find through someone's profile, but I am mainly focusing on the "networth" and other keys that aren't typically displayed, at the moment. I don't see someone's networth on the their profile. But, if I am wrong about this, then please forgive my ignorance. I am still trying to learn and understand the API and the game altogether.

If I was just to do an API call on someone's networth (https://api.torn.com/user/1510830?selections=networth&key=${my_API}) then I get the a code: 7 error: "Incorrect ID-entity relation".

I am having problems as well.

My images don't even come up for me at all when I edit them through the source code and when I click the 'ADD IMAGE' button, the textbox just gets a red box around it and doesn't do anything else at all.
