I appreciate your sentiment. However I'm afraid that one side is determined to wreck the machine and a large number of people have been suckered into thinking that, after wrecking the machine, a new better one is going to be built. It's not.
I've said this before. If the things that conservatives want to happen to others, happened to them - they are horrified. If the things that leftists want to happen to others, happens to them - they are delighted.
I listed above 10 things I want to see happen. If they affected me, it would be a great day. Access to healthcare, lowering pollution, affordable housing. I want EVERYONE to have a better life.
But look at what the MAGA creeps want - for other people to suffer. Empower the rich, make healthcare more expensive, kill foreigners and jack up inflation, loot and embezzle.
I mean can you name a single Republican policy that primarily benefits the majority of working and middle class people in the country that isn't secretly a kickback for the millionaire class?
