looks like it works just fine, you just copy pasted your $39m into the time, and the 99 (days) into the price lmao
Since the price is linked to
For practical purposes though, the long-term effects of you trying this would be that your networth would shrink, people would laugh at you, and you'd have enough xanax to last you a good while.
You're welcome, thread solved, grave please, etc. etc.

It's not a thing I do personally but I'm in the BHG server, and I would like to mention that the "24 hours after completion" thing isn't just "in small font underneath the order".
There's a guide in the channel and it's literally the first thing under a heading labeled "important"

if they were to ban it they'd have to fed like half the playerbase, so don't worry about it :P
It's a bit of a weird one. Quick items (and other confirmation-skipping stuff) is allowed because it's you making the request, not the script/website.
Usually when you try to use an item, it brings up a confirmation; the "use" button is just cosmetic and only serves to bring up the confirmation, making no requests; only the "yes" on the confirmation sends anything to the server. Quick items are basically equivalent to moving that confirmation "yes" button to the top of your screen so it's always there.
This makes it okay so long as it's on the same page (so quick items are always on your item page, or on faction's armoury page; you can't e.g. have a "use medkit" button on someone's attack page) and so long as it's always one user input per request (so you clicking it once only uses one of the item, you can't have a "drink 48 beers" button).
Similar idea with quick-busting/bailing (only the "yes" on "are you sure you want to bust...?" is a request) and there're some for skipping the confirmation on item market purchases too.
mean words maybe
at least wait until the event starts before you complain about it
dang

(mildly silly) request for clarification:
would betting on a game of chess you personally play be considered third-party gambling? it's betting on a game, but theoretically chess is a game of skill rather than chance, but also you can "exploit" someone by cheating with a chess engine
does the answer to this change if the game of chess is played by sending the moves in chess notation via torn chat? that's a perfectly legitimate way to play chess and it becomes entirely within torn rather than a 3rd-party chess website
wrong. the point is millions of kitties and kittens
pre my time, but again i'd hardly call the current merc market dying/dead; there were like two years straight when RWs dropped where we were paying out the ass for offensive and defensive mercs (what, like 3.5m or something per hit?), in 100-person factions, for days of wars.
We mostly get no-mercs terms now because it's so expensive to do that, but when the other side doesn't agree to no-mercs it's still a thing that we buy. (hell we even have a little merc service of our own in the faction family) If anything's killing the market it's the prices being charged; mercs want profit over the cost of an energy can, which is expensive as hell (esp compared to a bounty).
Likewise it may re-vitalise the merc market that was about before the ability to self hosp.
isn't the merc market mostly fine? like people still use them defensively in ranked wars even with the ED changes, the main reason it's dropped off is because it costs an arm and a leg and RWs aren't as profitable anymore. Surely individual traders getting merced pale in comparison to what you got with a RW contract.
Maybe I'm old and remembering the good ol' days, maybe there really isn't a problem bit things just seem.. less enjoyable now days.
honestly, your account's old enough to vote, it's kinda natural that you burn out on it after some point. torn's better than most games on this front because everything's so much slower (so it's years rather than months when you start to get bored, assuming you don't quit on day 1) but it just be like that. a lil break or radically changing what you're doing (go become a reviver for a bit lmao) might help with this.
isn't this like six month old drama? i know torn's an old browser game but that doesn't mean you have to use internet explorer dude
edit: no wait this is about you cheating, i though it was the nova thing from like 2 years ago lmao. either way who gives a shit
i'm not sure what i'm looking at, could you add some circles please?
sometimes i ask myself what the point is
You should never have had that much in the vault, especially as a small faction.
Do what an actual bank does, and invest it. Put that money in stock blocks. Means your eggs aren't all in one basket (keep 2b as float in the vault, have 5 bankers each with 4b of stock; at a maximum one person can only rob you of 6b rather than 22b), and produces profit (the returns from stock BBs can go into funding an armoury, or xans for the faction, or whatever).
And unlike an actual bank, if everyone wants to withdraw at once for whatever reason, you can also feasibly do that within 24 hours by selling all the stocks off.
not as far as we know, though ched likes to have little hidden effects sometimes
you're just meeting bad rng, exacerbated by low overall crime exp
it's a bit of a difficult spot since when you're new, you don't have any job stats, so most companies that'll take you are either shite or you pay them
sweet shop is the classic one since at 7* you can exchange job points for energy cans, which are good to sell; and otherwise you can directly exchange JP for happy to supplement happy jumping
adult novelties is also a big one, at 10* you have doubled eDVD effect which is huge for happy jumping. high enough demand that you're almost always paying for a spot in one though
private security firm is the new cool thing(tm), though i'm fairly sure it's more the owner exploiting newbies than the newbies gainig much of anything
ask in your faction and see if any of the company owners are willing to hire a newbie, that's probably your best bet
We're still in "better than old arsons, worse than old FBI hacks" territory.
High-level disposal, cracking, arson and scamming all give decent payouts.
We have the technology for democracy (captain votes) now.
Give us a daily ostracism vote where the winner gets kicked from the team.
Successes / total attempts. You've clicked buttons relating to "driver's license" 1638 times, and 1579 of those have succeeded (the othersr are either fails or crit fails)
