I am torn apart to have to announce that I will be leaving Torn. Unfortunately, my life is not going all that well at the moment and that's solely due to laziness. I spend my days on facebook, gaming, and all that and it's not much of a life. I have to make a change, get in good physical shape, get a job, make friends, etc. As of right now, I'm just lazy, sleep all the time, game, eat junk food, and that's it. I want to be something. Not nothing.
Anyways, I just thought I'd announce my departure. Some won't know me. In fact, many won't but there will be the odd one that does. Before you say, "Can I has your stuff?" I am going to think of something that will allow me to distribute my poor-ish wealth fairly. I won't be returning. As much as it has been fun, there are reasons I should not return. Nothing to do with the game or any players. Just real life stuff.
Have a good, peaceful, enjoyable life everyone and may Torn live long and prosper.
Are there any players here who have disabilities? Whether it be physical or mental? I would like to talk to those who may have disabilities as I find it a lot easier to fit in with others who have a disability like myself or understand disabilities and care for them.
Torn is a game that I've made a few friends on (and unfortunately a lot of enemies) but it helps with my socializing as I struggle with socializing in real life and that in part is due to being anxious but also due to being autistic on the higher functioning end.
For me personally, I just want to fit in with everyone else. It can be hard though, especially when I'm not a 100% well liked player and am relatively new. I'm not fishing for empathy, I'm just honestly fishing for friends on Torn and also to connect with those who have had struggles with their own personal disability.
I try not to limit myself just because I have autism and I prefer referring to disability as unique or removing the dis.
As a suicide survivor, disability advocate, autistic, and someone who has had a rough life, I'd really like to connect with others who have disabilities or, in fact, struggle with mental health and I'd love to hear your stories so I know I'm not alone in having a rough life. Spent half of my childhood in what America would call CPS.

You're probably wondering how a user got to level 10 and is only on day 3. Well, I'm one of those people that use real money to advance in a game. So I basically used real money, brought donator packs and sold em for xanax, etc.

I would like to apologize for my previous post about me leaving. It wasn't karma farming. I was really going to leave. However, Torn is a game that helps me to relax, de-stress, and keep me happy. I know I'm not the nicest Torn player but honestly there are some very nice players here and I need to surround myself with that.
On another note, Beerstein, I think it was, said I could be depressed. It turns out I am depressed. I disregarded the dark thoughts and today resulted in a police call-out for a potential suicide attempt. I'm very depressed, upset, tired and exhausted and I feel like I'm in hell some days. My mood has gone from angry to happy to depressed. I got kicked out of my disability 24/7 care home for being intimidating when staff wound me up. Now I'm just pondering the meaning of life. From 10 years old to 20 years old, my life has been hell. In Child Protection Services and shipped around the country, etc.
Anyways, I'm going off topic. Just wanted to say I need to stay because I need to surround myself with good people and Torn has a lot of positive people.

I didn't read everyone's comment but here is my opinion, if it's worth anything.
There may be no scientific evidence right now of Jesus Christ existing but many atheists, from what I heard, don't say, "Jesus wasn't real." They just don't believe He was God's Son. A scientific fact is that Roman Governor Pontius Pilates has been confirmed as being real, from what I've heard. The Holy Bible mentions Pontius Pilates so that right there shows that the Holy Bible isn't a full lie. I'm pretty sure the Holy Bible mentions him.
I mean, atheists try to disprove God but as of yet they can't. There may be no hard scientific evidence to prove God exists but there is none to prove He doesn't exist. The most followed religion in this world is Christianity from what I read. There are far more followers of Christianity than there are of atheism.
I don't like to force or tell people to believe in God or you will burn in hell. I also don't like getting angry at people. It has happened quite a bit in my life and I have run into police trouble a few times for my anger but in all honesty I hate being or getting angry. I find it pointless.
Anyways, regardless of whether you're a Christian or an Atheist. We are all human and should believe in kindness and respect towards fellow human beings.

I wasn't attention seeking. At the time, I did want to leave but then I really like the Torn community and how supportive it is. I am a bit depressed still and am struggling in real life but I just have to take it one day at a time.

Thank you all for your kind messages and posts regarding my real life situation. This last week has been horrible but things are starting to get better.
Due to being evicted from the address that I was supposed to stay at as part of my probation conditions, I got arrested for that breach and spent the night in the cells. In the morning, I went to court and thankfully got bailed back to my new address. I have court in a couple weeks time. I am really hoping the judge isn't too harsh. I'm hoping if I have good behavior until court comes around, probation will put in a good word and the judge will see that I'm trying to better myself.
I am still going under a bit of depression. I'm eating but it just depends on the day and mood I'm in as to how much I eat. I am trying to motivate myself and get up during the day and I am actively trying to keep myself busy to avoid dark and depressing thoughts.
I am back on Torn but not for long periods of time like I used to be on. Unfortunately life has given me a kick and now I must respond by behaving better and showing people I'm not a bad, angry, depressed man. I am kind, funny, and considerate.

It's very minor. To do with urology. Basically circumcision. Only reason I'm undergoing surgery for that is that I suffer from a few medical issues to do with that part. So circumcision should remove the medical issues hopefully. They want to put me under general for it though. I've never had surgery so that's why I'm a bit worried.
I have this fear where I won't wake up. Never been under any type of surgery.
Atheism isn't a religion. There are many players in Torn, no doubt, that believe in a higher existence. If you don't, then that's fine. At least respect other people's personal beliefs rather than mock them. It's immature and childish behavior.
I think it would be pretty inclusive of Torn if a religious sub-forum was added for religious folk.
For example, if a religious sub-forum is added, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, Christianity, Judaism, Muslim, and all the other religions could be discussed in the forum.
Opinions? (Please don't make fun of religion. To some it is a very important aspect of their life)
So it may not bother some people but for me, I would really like a 'seen' button for the side tabs that have the discussions, people who liked/disliked your post, friends posts, popular posts (I think there is a tab with popular posts), etc. A seen button, if clicked, would mean all the forum posts and notifications in those tabs would become grey'd out. At the moment, I think you have to manually click on every single notification which can be a bit annoying.
Just an idea. Very minor idea. I like things to be tidy lol.
