Maybe a beverage. Maybe a drug. Possible features: -reduces cooldown from drinking beer -more energy -more happy -might randomly nerf or subtract X% from any one stat -No OD -Maybe you can't use some other drug? Or if you do, there's a hosp chance -helps temporarily with works stats? most likely endurance
I'm curious if Coffee was something that was considered as an addition at some point. Thanks for listening!

Kidnapped Santa
You don't have to do the optional steps. Or so I assume.
[Optional] 1. Make a right after entering the map. Find Elf 1 in the fenced off area with the big christmas tree at 110, 3 [Optional] 2. Got to entrance of Maze at 91, -11 [Optional] 3. Find Elf 2 in Maze at 104, -27 -- Make a right after entering the maze -- Go down -- At 94, -17 make a right -- Go all the way down - then follow that path until you reach the elf -- Exit the maze through the entrance
Ice Cave 4. Find Elf 3 in the Ice Caves. Entrance at 96,14 5. Elf 3 gives you blue ticket for the Carnival at Fantasy Island 6. Get bitten by the Penguin! You will go to First Aid. Idk if there's an actual exit.
Carnival 7. Find Elf 4 at the Docks at 124, -29 8. Take boat to Carnival on Fantasy Island 9. Go thru blue entrance at 111, -58. AVOID NPC, otherwise you will get sent back to swan boat - - Avoid the ice rink. Got loot spawn on the rink, stepped in and immediately went to first aid. Idk if there's actually a way to get onto the rink safely
House of Terror/Terror Tunnel 10. Enter House of Terror at 137 -87, 11. Enter Terror Tunnel at top of map at 164, -82 12. Exit tunnel at 142, -62 - AVOID EVERYTHING (don't touch any statues or trees, etc.). You will get sent to First Aid.
Santa's Grotto 13. Enter Santas grotto at 133, -3 14. Find the entrance to dungeon at the Workshop at 168, 4
Grinch's Dungeon 15. Avoid all of the tiles that aren't completely shaded. Also, AVOID THE GRINCH! You will get sent to first aid Be especially careful and stay on 160, 17 to avoid that sneaky tile to the right of that.
Santa / Snowglobe 16. Pass through the gates at 167, 19. Santa will be in this area 17. Get your presents from Santa if you haven't already 18. Get snowglobe from NPC at 166, 25 19. To exit, go back out the gate (open via computer first, maybe?) and then take a right 20. Exit tunnel
Very huge thanks to Scratchzilla who literally walked me through #10-15
Got an ad on reddit when I was browsing r/ttrpg. Was taking a break from work at the time and it was the height of the pandemic. Needless to say, I was bored out of my mind and craving social interaction. Torn was a great way to stay occupied. I've made several friends, including some I've met in person. I also really enjoy ranked warring.
To get really practical about this: ad targeting spaces where there are women will get more women. I'm sure Torn ads end up targeting a certain demographic because that's where Torn has invested its marketing budget--to people who game who most likely would be interested. Women may not visit those spaces. To really get more women, the ads will have to show up in women-dominant spaces just to randomly mix it up.
Cross posting the "Affronted" guide as theres stuff you need to do other than just the dialogue to get them annoyed at you https://www.torn.com/forums.php#/!p=threads&f=61&t=15925001&b=0&a=0
I'm currently posting this with TornTools enabled.
Various faction mates during the end of ranked war between WMD and Black Lotus Society saw different end goal targets. It's unclear which was the actual target. https://www.torn.com/war.php?step=rankreport&rankID=6734 Report seemed to indicate 4891 while others reported 4825, 4824
We had to keep going even after we reached the 4824 that displayed for the majority of us.
I work at a tech startup on the customer account management side.
I have an undergrad bachelors degree in something completely unrelated and no programming experience. I started my career as a consultant, working with software engineering teams and that led to what I do now. I really love what I do.
I make enough to be financially stable (i.e. I'd be ok if I couldn't work for some time). Typical hours are 40 a week although on rare occasions it can be closer to 60. No one cares when you start or end work as long as you get it done. I can do things like play torn all morning if my first meeting isn't until 11am. I also took a nap yesterday at 230pm cus I finished what I needed to do for the day. However, I also have days when I'm in 8 hours of meetings.
I have never heard of a single lawyer say they like their job. My dad was a lawyer.

I have an undergrad bachelors degree in something completely unrelated and no programming experience, but that hasn't stopped me from spending my whole career working closely with developers and technical leaders. The 420 sale is awesome. Can attest. 10/10 would recommend
The $1 system should have no effect on the 420 sale because it only applies when items are $1. Basically, if something is listed at $1, only a random select group of people can buy that specific item from a specific bazaar. Everyone else will see a “lock” icon and cannot purchase the item. It was instituted after the Black Friday sale period 2 years ago where no one could really buy anything because a few people hoarded everything.
For step #2 - After you go into the cell at the bottom left corner (415,-39), You'll end up in the hospital and have to find your way back. Exit the hospital at 484, -70
You can stop by Santa at 478, -55 while you're at it.
---- For step #7 - Entrance to the piano player area is at 642, -49
---- For step #8 - Avoid the lighter brown colored tiles. If you don't, you'll end up back outside the house by the helipad and have to do the maze all over again :/
