There are items in Torn that gives players a set amount of Casino Tokens, Lottery Tickets, etc.
But there hasn't been an item that gives Job Points.
Hear me out!
Job Points are a big part of Torn. The majority of companies use the points to assist factions in a RW, help players avoid bounties, and other good stuff I'm too lazy to list.
With this item, you can skip a day of waiting and instantly gain 5 to 10 points in your company (random).
The downsides (such as: over-stacking points, profiting from specials) can be avoided by raising the monetary value and limiting the item use to once every company business day.

Previously, I made a thread for alternative titles regarding "Hired Gun". I've changed my mind on this and realized that there was absolutely nothing wrong with The original titles to begin with.
Why fix what isn't broken?
The original titles, (Hitman, Bondsman, Marksman) were brilliant left alone. Instead of struggling to brainstorm new titles, WHY NOT JUST BRING THE ORIGINAL TITLES BACK!?
We all know this is just a text-based game; however, people give hard-earned money to keep the servers floating and staff members money in their pocket. Where is our decision in the matter?
There will be a poll with three simple choices for the people of Torn to decide for themselves what should be done.
Bring the original titles back?
or
Keep the new titles?
or

I was just about to scour through my posts and link it. I wish I would've kept my original post rather than deleting it, but yes I was trying to introduce a support day/month into Torn to bring awareness to cancer.
It's not a big deal. I do support mental health and believe everyone should have the resources to manage it. It was the escapism argument that struck a chord in how I see the community here.
I lost someone due to cancer and wanted to spread my love for those who were going through it.
They did not want to hear it.

I made a cancer awareness post a couple years back and nearly got shunned out of the community for bringing real-life issues into Torn.
It has long since been graved and erased, but I remember.
Maybe the community has changed since then?
Edit: The arguement to my cancer awareness post was "Why would I want to be reminded of reality when I come to Torn to escape reality?"

I've been seeing vault thief posts for years and they all have one thing in common - the faction leader is exempt from punishment.
That's the only reason these threads are abundant, nearly one or two per page. I understand mistakes can happen but it's a massive inconvenience to everyone in the faction who trusts enough to invest money into the faction bank.
At the least, start doing basic orientation tests to make sure your bankers possess the competence required to transfer money.

Pissing off the OGs and big factions is a huge no no is all I'm saying. If you plan on sticking around, they can make your gameplay hell. With this thread I'm sure you'll find out soon enough.
Some of these folks will drop tens of millions to torment you and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it. Try to run to staff?: Get laughed at on the governmental level.
Try to run to forums?: Get battered by the community.
Only way to escape is to step back for about a month and burn off all your bounties, cross your fingers, and hope when you login the next day you don't have an extra 50 set of bounties.
