Nobody really cares about others with their personal problems and stuff. Aside from making a fool of yourself like that and people poking fun at you, it also guarantees that you cannot be trusted by the faction for trying to bring personal topics in the public and with the goal of getting back. You did something that got you kicked. It happened, end of story. Made even worse by the fact its hypocritical too; you say that you matured, yet you also decided to bring sensitive topics to people that wouldn't give a cent about. Also, you never gave out any explanations; why they kicked you? What did you done to make them consider that? How was their reactions? What did they told you? Nothing is explained, which makes it harder to sympathize with you.
So, you know what would be better? Swallow your pride and accept defeat. TORN is a game that takes time and a lot to learn. We all do mistakes and we learn from them. But by that way? No. Lingering in the past will destroy you, especially when this came is based on mentality and patience.
And with that, I have to vote No. Aside from not caring, making this thread shows that you haven't truly matured yet. And I doubt that your former faction would think differently than me. Move on. There's many more opportunities for you when it comes to factios. And if you have any concerns or questions, ask your leaders or any high-level player. They will be more than glad to help you out. Just one thing; please consider deleting that thread. It will paint you more as a person that factions won't be sure to trust in their ranks. It's for the better.

Hello there! Yes, I know, it sounds boring having a full intro and stuff for a thread, so I'll keep things short; I'm a newbie in Torn, around 168 days old when it comes to my account. It's been a couple of months since I got into the game, and with a decent amount of experience, I wanted to make a small thread about my adventure till now, and my impressions of the game. I got through some pretty difficult times as a newbie, but after a while, I started to get more powerful, richer, and overall a better player, with my ultimate goal being to become the best, and leave a mark in Torn history (yes, a generic goal, but, I REALLY want it). So, let's get started.
Part 1: The Sign-up This will come as pretty unusual, but when it comes to the question of how I found this game... Get this... It was Instagram ads. Yep, I learned about the game while scrolling through my feed. And unlike many games that just didn't catch any of my attention, this one did. I watched the full ad, seeing every detail and moment, and after fully watching it, I became quite intrigued with it. Generally, I'm a person that isn't always the best at being kept hooked on games for a long time and swapping from one game to another, but oh boy, this wasn't the case. So of course, one day I decided to visit the site and do a sign-up. Pretty simple stuff. Moving on... Part 2: The Beginning As soon as one begins their journey on Torn, their days really count. Unfortunately, I came in quite unprepared and my start has been slow and hindered by my personal opinion. As soon as I got in, I surprisingly got a chat message from a random fella, who was looking for newbies to join a faction he was part of. Of course, I accepted it, and after doing the New Player missions and some other stuff, I was accepted in the ranks. Of course, this came with both some ups and downs. On the plus side, I could get a lot more experience with how the game works, what to do, and learn essential strategies. On the downside, the faction didn't have lots of respect, and some necessities were unlocked (primarily the armories), there were no Gym gain upgrades, no drug mitigation or OD decrease upgrades, nothing. This was also the reason that I was told to start upgrading my Addiction Mitigation Merit Upgrade. And unfortunately, as the foolish newbie I was, I followed the advice, not realizing the consequences of this decision, which was the fact that Education Length was equally important too (and I learned it later on too). Other than that though, my start was a mixed bag. I had a faction, and I had stuff I could utilize, but at the same time I was still weak, I was still very weak. I actually neglected the potential for training and had 4K Battle Stats at the time, it was very bad. There was little progress and even if I persisted and tried to do something, I just felt limited. Of course, I have nothing against these people and I respect their work, but I don't think that it was the right place for me to stick around. And especially when I committed a move that changed my entire perspective, not just in terms of progression, but also about the entire game...
Part 3: Torn City's Elimination 2022 (And the guide of how to not be like me 101) Yes, this is exactly what I did. I, a player with barely any Battle Stats joined one of the most brutal events in the entirety of Torn. This was literally suicide. I looked at the event at first and went "Oh, a fun event to partake in!" and of course joined. But slowly, that decision brought me to the realization that this is literally a newcomer's hell, and by any chance, for all you newcomers, DON'T. ENTER. ELIMINATION. Unless you're OK with getting yourself beaten to death by all the strongest players 24/7 (and the extra of meeting amazing and helpful people), I suggest you get to training right away. As soon as the event began, I realized that it was far worse than I ever thought.1000 players, separated into 12 teams and many of them being people with enormous Battle Stats. It was literally like getting a punch in your groin and being unable to get up, except it lasted for weeks. Without any breathing room and struggling to find targets, I would get beaten over, and over, and over, and OVER AGAIN. It was mentally painful to the moment I had some breakdowns on the Discord server of the team I was in, feeling completely useless and ranting over how "I made a terrible decision joining the event". Thankfully though, I ended up making a couple of hits and getting the first place, because that team also came to be our beloved Rain Men! However, that didn't mean anything to me when I barely managed to contribute. It made me feel... empty, desperate to be something more than just a punching bag. This made me wanna become a great, if not, the greatest Torn player ever. To pit me against the most powerful and prevail. To make a name that will echo throughout the times. Yes, it sounds hysterical and insane of me, but I wanna aim high and actually be what I wanna be! But that road will be difficult, and until then, I need to build a reputation through forums and such.
Part 4: The Present Alright, this will be the end of this section in the story of my life. Right now, I've been actually doing a lot better. After Elimination, I left my previous faction and joined a new one which I was invited under a fellow Rain Men teammate, which currently has 1M+ respect and tons of crucial perks, while at the same time making progress with my stats and getting cracked on that f**king Xanax babyyyyyyyyyy- Not to mention, I also managed to reach Level 15 with ease, getting money for my war hits, and even managed to get myself into a Private Island! Literally, life feels good right now. Of course, though, I'm still fighting with myself, as I learn more about the game, its mechanics, and trying to discipline myself in order to be the best of myself and not get myself into petty situations (trust me, the last one happened to me a month ago, but I'd rather not talk about it).
And that's pretty much it; the entire story of my life summarized. If you are still sticking with me, good job. You deserve a good, refreshing Soda. :)
My Impressions Torn is literally one of the most fun games I've ever played so far, and one that I didn't abandon after a month or so. There's something that just keeps me going; the simple concept of the game, the idea of how every real-life second matters, the ease of accessing it and not having to worry about doing lots of tiresome stuff all the time, it all creates this experience that seemingly helps me not leave the game at all. Not to mention, aside from a few bad seeds, the community has been relatively friendly and welcoming. Especially throughout Elimination, I got some pretty useful advice and was even gifted some weapons to deal some proper damage with ease. Plus, the depth of the gameplay and the tons and tons of strategies one can use make it an even more refreshing experience.
Overall, Torn is literally one of the best MMO games I've ever played and you can't change my mind. The time and dedication it needs is a lot, yet it feels rewarding too.
And with that, now I'm looking forward to the 365-day milestone!

As mentioned before, this is a Job Special for the Detective Agency. It came off as a surprise to me the first time it happened, but yes; as you commit more crimes, you build up a bounty. And the more you build it, the more lucrative you become to DA employees. Granted, if I recall correctly, it's more of a late/end-game thing to do if you consider on taking up a position on such company, but it is lucrative too.
Also FYI, Critically Failing a crime with the outcome being jail time, it resets your bounty back to 0
For starters, correction: It's not maraudaru, it's Marauder.
Secondly, where is the proof you actually have a pair of Marauder Pants? Not that it's always followed (and that is with cases of highly reputable sellers), but it's an unwritten rule to show a screenshot of the item and its stats to confirm its legitimacy. You don't show that. You just say that it has the Impreviable bonus, its armor stat and offering to sell for.... 1 Billion? Normally it's sold as part of the whole armor set, and even if it's sold seperately, it's less than a Billion.
Thirdly, learn to use the markup editor to create a more appealing post.
And fourth... Why you bumped the post as soon as you posted it? It would already appear on top, so it's unecessary, dare I say even reflective of something... dubious.

I mean, this is true. Flight time, especially when it comes to plushie/Xanax runs, can really get boring. But you need to remember that TORN is supposed to be a game you combine with irl, not a standalone regular game. For me at least, it works wonders; I do apprenticeship work irl, meaning that I can combine my work with TORN flights in such way that time flies with relative ease, and I get to even do multiple flights; pop the necessary Xanax and Nerve and travel to the UAE after waking up, and at work buy the plushies, return back to TORN, work for a few hours, pop another Xan (if necessary) and Nerve, and do another trip to the UAE, which by a couple of minutes before my shift is over, I'll get another bach of plushies and return to TORN.
If you don't have anything to do with your time, find something. It will help you a lot.
Also as a pansexual myself, TORN is not homophobic. Everyone is hated here equally, regardless of your background, which is quite literally equality.
