I really enjoy my partner they are the best and we have hit it off in the game, we have each other’s backs, communicate daily, help, and inspire, ect…
That being said, I noticed marriage is almost like a badge to wear for a merit in Torn. It dose not come with any inherent risk or tangible benefit(s). I have seen people who have been married for hundreds and even a 1000 days but they have never even sent one piece of mail to one another (I know you can use chats but still there is something to be said about that) I have also seen people married multiple times …I think there is a unique opportunity to develop a fun, beneficial, and even a risky element to the game.
Ability to view all of each others stats: Strength, Speed, Dexterity, ect…
Alerts when your significant other places bounties.
Alerts if your significant other is attacked. Then prompt a screen “Would you like to retaliate?” YES NO
ONLY FOR MARRIED COUPLES: A new purchasable upgrade for properties a “Closet” similar to the display case that you can both access. With more expensive properties the closet upgrade scales in available “space”.
A few new “Bonnie and Clyde” crimes. Similar to the faction crimes that you can plan together. With matching Merit. These could be something like: “Scam a tourist” “Jewelry store heist” “Insurance fraud” “Steal from adult store”
Display exact anniversary date on profiles
A wedding ring that your significant other can upgrade almost like the “piggy bank” you can always add to it but once you “pawn” it and receive the money put in it, it’s gone, this can only be pawned after divorce. (Not sure if it should display the value or not either way could be fun)
On that note, divorces should be displayed some how some where like the name changes so it carries with you much like a real one.
A few options to do together (once daily, requires both to activate similar to a trade)
Cook Together = temporary HP boost/fill missing HP
Exercise Together = spend energy to refill nerve
Consummate marriage or “Movie and Chill” = spend x/5 energy to gain x/10
Shop together = spend nerve to gain energy
Exchange gifts = spend cash for happiness gain
On anniversary date: Celebrate Together = fill energy Bar, nerve, happiness, and health 100%
As days go by in marriage you gain “points” that can be spent on certain statistical boost like when upgrading factions with respect. (I’m on the fence about this as it would be a disadvantage to being single which isn’t always the case, right?) these would reset and be lost if divorced.

I looked for this but didn’t find it so forgive me if it has been suggested but…
A pink slip drag race track would be fun. (For those that don’t know a pink slip race means the winner gets the other persons car.)
People might trick out the lesser used cars for fun and race them against others.
this moves money, racing points, cars ect… could even work it into a new stock or company for a drag race track ect… there is a lot of potential there.
First and foremost I hope you find a way to be happy and take care of your mental health. Secondly if I become the random person just know I will also dispense it out to other new players. (Ask my company and faction I give away a lot)
Yeah I was referring more to peoples habits that they feel makes them lucky or succeed more. For example blowing on dice before a roll or kissing them dose nothing to effect the roll…I mean of course it’s an online computerized randomization. Though maybe someone feels stopping it on PI has a tendency to give more success in their personal experience.
I tried several different things it still seems to be extremely random. (As it is supposed to be, I guess) for example pressing the stop button on the wheel in the same location multiple times yields very different results every time. I thought I could get it down to “if I stop it here it will have the best chance of stopping on a desired prize.”
Though do you tend to have more luck if you let it spin for a long time? Stop it right away? Hit the stop button when the arrow is on one of the negative effects? What is your method? I want to win that PI, enlighten me!
So far it has been really fun and really good but also…really expensive! I shouldn’t be running one at such a low level but I can’t help but want to run things myself and build things myself. Everyone in the company seems to be extremely happy and I pay them really good money for their loyalty through the growing process.

I’m too new for that but I WILL get there.
3- why did you choose (insert company) to own?
It sounded fun/funny to run and also the defensive bonus of chance to avoid melee attacks was very interesting.
4- did you buy the company or start it yourself?
Started it myself.
5- what are your plans with it (grow it, sell it)?
At minimum grow it to its maximum potential.
6- how long did it take you to reach 10* (or the rating that it's currently at)?
2 months and 13 days to get to three stars. I don’t really know what kind of growth to expect it’s my first go at to but I’ll be sticking to it!
7- did you enjoy the process, why or why not?
yes I enjoy it very much it is creating a great sense of togetherness with the employees and it’s become sort of like a mini faction. They all look out for one another and help each other when in need. I’m proud of all of them! Even if they take a lot of my money lol!
8- how much did you make at your company in profits? how much are you making now?
I am in the hole greatly but it continues to make more money and grow so it’s an investment I expect to see a return on at some point. If not it’s been a fun experience that is part of the game that I get to be part of.
The cost was exponentially more for us as the cost for drugs is easily affordable when your years into the game vs. months. The risk and cost is minimal for them and heavy for the lower target.
I honestly figured this wouldn’t be popular for the people who have already been playing for years. If this dose not seem popular I won’t be angry. As a new very active person who likes to interact with the larger community of games I’m just providing feedback as I’m going through the game.
