Someone mentioned a career in newspaper comics, once I get to lvl 10, I probably will do that, or at least try..

I'm curious to hear about what your calling in this game turned out to be, what gets your money making blood pumping? Mine will most likely involve some form of commissions, or at least that's the best guess I have for mine, considering what people have told me.
I've also started investing in the stock markets..

Or.. If you don't want to share you criminal secrets, feel free to simply describe how you'll horribly brutalize me and hospitalize me in the comments below.


Also I should mention that things haven't been too bad despite the way my pics make it sound, though saying that publicly is probably worst thing I could do heh..

To be honest, I don't think this belonged in the new players thread or fun & games thread, so you all have to deal with this travesty of a thread I'm making, may god have mercy on my soul.

Anyways..
I've been enjoying my time in Torn, I've only been around a day but I'm slowly learning the ins and outs, at least of the things that I can see, of course there's many more things I need to find out.
I have to say, I love the whole education aspect, being able to become the kind of criminal you want to be, very intriguing, and extremely profitable depending on the kinds of people you interact with.

Of course I haven't gotten that far yet..
Well, I've definitely met some interesting users all with different abilities, it's mostly me that doesn't have those particular sets of skills.
But all in good time I guess, for now, skill building and money making sounds like the plan.

Back on topic, my first impressions of this game are pretty good so far, I'm a bit curious what you all thought of the game on your first day, if you'd want to comment down below it'd be interesting to hear your thoughts.

What I was trying to say before I was interrupted (ayo I literally, actually, was attacked a second ago xd) was about the topic of profile pictures.

I figure it'll be a good discussion piece, considering it could end up being my livelihood in this game, but also how it affects our time here.

I mean after all, sometimes people sort of.. expect something of you based on your picture, or maybe you use it to play a certain persona.
What got you to pick the profile picture you use today? Do you keep it the same or do you change it every now and then? I'm interested to hear as always.

I'll probably change my picture at some point, I don't know when, but even if I do, I always try to incorporate it into my edits, and as you can probably tell, I use a lot of the animes for pictures.

Been a while since I've come back to Torn.

But I've managed to stay hooked for a couple weeks now and it'd feel wrong not getting back into the old posts I used to make.

There was probably a few happy to see me go, but ah well..

For these past couple weeks, I've been going to the UK, buying

And then I discovered large suitcases and renting private islands.

I mean I know I'm pretty brain dead but still..

It was a total game changer, cutting that travel time in half and almost doubling the amount I could bring back.

I've literally doubled my networth since rejoining, and I regret not looking more into Torn's money making methods.

If I just looked up guides, I might've learned about it faster, but that ain't me, you probably know this by now.
