I know someone has made a thread regarding making them more impactful, but mine is going to focus on a different aspect, which is the regulation of dirty bombs.
I understand that making it takes a LOT of time and effort. That's fine, and that doesn't need to be changed. The priming process doesn't need to be changed either.
What I think can be implemented, are measures to ensure people aren't randomly going willy nilly with them. Dirty bombs are supposed to be rare, and they are supposed to be massively destructive weapons that make a statement that shit just got real. Here is what I suggest:
Impose a cooldown on the amount of dirty bombs allowed to be detonated between a 24 to 72 hour period. This will allow recovery and preparation, and can be justified by saying there's an increased presence and caution for a while
Make dirty bombs have potential consequences for ones not used on factions with territories, meaning there is a percentage chance for it to backfire on the leaders faction or person that planted it.
I think this would curb frivolous dbs and be a step closer to them feeling impactful rather than an annoyance. That's what its supposed to be after all: An extremely impactful way to damage a factions reputation and spice up territories....
Would love to hear input. Thanks in advance. If theres any other way to make it more balanced also put those there as well.
Yes, there needs to be a Staff manager. It's not like it needs to be a complete third party. Someone who doesn't use their power to get a leg up in the game and is as fair as possible to both players and staff would be the best option. An Ombudsman is a little overkill since it's a browser game, but there does need to be less bias in the team and more accountability for them.
Pub Hiring
My only requirements:
Rehab weekly
Be Active
Have 40k in each stat or at least 40k each in two work stats, or EE merits if close to this but not quite there. I'm looking for a base 120-130 efficiency. This one is more of a preference. If you have over 110 then you can get in.
Job Perks:
| 1 | Pub Lunch | 1 | 3 energy |
| 3 | Drunken Master | Passive | 10% melee weapon damage |
| 5 | Liquid Courage | 25 | Refill nerve bar |
| 7 | Lightweight | Passive | 50% bottle of alcohol boost |
| 10 | Buzzed | Passive | +15 maximum nerve |
Pay can be negotiated if work stats exceed criteria. Trains are usually priced at 500k but for certain employees I can rotate trains. The main benefit are the perks. Contact me if interested.
I need an employee to replace someone that's planning to leave very very soon. Looking to get to 10*.

Hey yall, I'm your local fox, looking into joining a new faction that prioritizes Crimes 2.0, and OC 2.0 is a must. I want something chill. I don't mind doing chains but wars may be too involved for me, not sure. I wanna actively make money with Crimes and Traveling.
Info about myself:
Level 51.
I try to be on multiple times a day, at least 5 days a week, but ideally every day because I am gonna be directing my own company soon. I wanna be on at least 3 to 5 times a day to do crimes and gym, and also sometimes travel.
Current Battle Stats:
- Strength 7,660,881
+2% to Strength from Education
-1% to Strength from Addiction
-25% to Strength from Drug
"> - Defense 7,142,040
+5% to Defense from Education
-1% to Defense from Addiction
-25% to Defense from Drug
"> - Speed 5,756,811
+4% to Speed from Education
-1% to Speed from Addiction
-25% to Speed from Drug
"> - Dexterity 9,801,952
Total Battle Stats:
- 30,361,684
NNB: 45
However, I am gonna be getting a pub and going ALL IN on crimes moving forward to get NNB to increase.
I want a faction that's a little chill, but actively doing stuff to try to make money, primarily Crimes. It must be a faction doing OC 2.0. I wanna travel sometimes, but mainly gonna be focusing on training, making money through passive income, occasional selling and traveling, and Crimes 2.0
I have some requirements when it comes to choosing a faction:
Bold= Non-Negotiable
MUST BE DOING OC 2.0
Must have Nerve +40 perk
Must have Crimes X
Max Nerve gain from Alcohol
Ability to refill Nerve through the armory using the armories points. This can be a default perk or be given with rank increases, but I must be able to obtain this option eventually in order to maximize crimes
Maxed out Toleration Branch. MIght have a little wiggle room on this but I highly highly prefer max toleration.
Maxed out Steadfast. I may consider 13 or 14 but that's only if these other ones are fulfilled exactly as stated. If its not maxed and these other ones aren't, then you'd have to make a strong case for it.
I would highly prefer Travel Capacity X but if the other ones are fulfilled exactly how I like it, then I am willling to do less, but prefer not going down below 7 or 8.
If Wars or Chains are required, then Xanax and meds must be provided by the faction
Nice to have:
Meds would be nice to have, but not needed.
I want something chill and relaxed. Wars may be fine but I don't want a competitive warring faction. I want an active faction trying to make money with crimes. I don't mind chains and I'll do my best to do 1%, but I wanna try to be an overachiever and do 2% but if I can't do one I'd let you know. I'd also help by donating Xanax and bloodbags when needed.
I may have more inquiries but this is all I can really think of at the moment. Thank you in advance and looking forward to any offers.
Looking to buy a 8 to 10 star pub, or at least want to inquire about pricing. Contact me directly if you want to share your proposition.
Yeah, figure this would get graved without a single regard. bogie, Ched, and everyone staffing, do better. Unless you wanna go down like Epic Games and Ubisoft because you refuse to listen to your community, wake up. This has been a time by time occurance. It feels like you pretend to listen, but just do so in order to make it seem like you care, where you actually don't. I still don't see any incentives for new players to join and play, as it's still extremely hard to get proper footing without ranked wars or traveling, and both have been nerfed consistently. Has Crimes payouts even been buffed? What are they supposed to do? I still haven't heard of anything new on that, but we get stupid bullshit like this. I don't see why anyone should trust in Torn staff and devs anymore, honestly, and I'm dissapointed with this whole result. I'm gonna try to make the best out of this, but I hope there will be some substantial content in the future that the general population can actually benefit from.
Yeah, staff should not be playing the game with staff powers. Games have regulations regarding staff for a reason. Also what is this qualified immunity bs? I am so sick of dealing with the corruption everywhere I go.
Are we going to have these organized gangs anywhere in the world now that suppress everything that isn't what they want to hear until we conform or die? What a cruel world.
Looking for a 7*+ pub primarily. Alternatively, looking for a 5*+ Meat Warehouse if that doesn't work out. Trains would be good too if possible but not dealbreaking.

Implement a dirty bomb cooldown too. I would even recommend implementing grave consequences for misuse as well. A 24 hour limit and if not targeted at territories, a high chance for it to backfire on the faction where he leader made the dirty bomb.
Level: 41
Activity: I'm not on all the time. I've been going through a rough time, but I'm on at least 10 to 20 minutes a day, and I ALWAYS get on daily.

~ My current faction and I have agreed that it was better for me to switch. I have been barely meeting the requirements of the faction, and it was decided that joining a new faction would benefit both of us. I'm looking for a relaxed faction that mostly trains and tries to make passive income. I don't mind the occasional war, and I'm even open to flying factions perhaps. I just won't be able to adhere to strict activity requirements, since my life is a mess.
Let me reiterate: I'll do my best to help whenever I can, and participate in anything the faction requires of me when possible. I've just been really busy because I've been struggling IRL. That's why I'm being kicked out of my current faction. I'll try my absolute best to help, but please bear with me if I cannot do some things, as my life is really messy right now.
Here are some perks that I want to see:
Steadfast(anything near or even above 12-14% is good. Won't go lower than 10.)
Perks that help with training (addiction and overdose prevention perks)
Perks that help with making income or at least factions that specialize in making income.
Thank you guys in advance, and I hope I can find the right faction for me.
I'd like a message. We all need a bit of humor in our lives.

My current spouse isn't able to play Torn much anymore, so they'll be unable to pay upkeep for much longer.

I am looking for INT trains and good job perks. I don't want anything less than 7 stars, and what I want in particular are perks that will help me make more money while traveling/travel more and easier, or perks that will reduce the money that I have to spend on training.
INT trains aren't a dealbreaker. but the perks ARE a dealbreaker.
I don't care about getting paid at all.
