I am a avid gambler on games and have never had a problem. I placed a bet on USA to win the gold in Men's hockey and I won the bet, but it came up as a loss. I know nobody wanted them to win (including me), but I felt it was going to happen. Can anyone explain the cause of this weird aberration?

My advice is to stick to the sport you know the best and bet the locks. Then develop a plan to stick to. Such as....giving yourself a cut off limit.
Being able to simply pick winners gives you a real advantage. I was shocked when I saw that.
