I should preface this with sorry, I'm new and just catching up in the forums. I am sorry to hear about losing your sister; I imagine that must have been difficult. I can understand not wanting to watch shows that you watched with her. My friend passed away a few years ago, and she had introduced me to a show that we both ended up really getting into. She ended up passing away unexpectedly. as the result of an accidental head injury when she fainted, and I haven't been able to finish the final season of the show. I was also deeply affected by the passing of Anthony Bourdain and haven't been able to watch anything but his biopic Roadrunner. His shows were always comfort bedtime shows for me, so I really miss them. I hope you are able to enjoy Lucifer again one day. 

I am a newbie to the game and received a random invite to join a faction. The people have turned out to be super friendly and incredibly helpful. Reminded me a lot about the old days when I used to play World of Warcraft. This game seems to have a great community, and I am loving being part of it.

Just started playing just over a month ago, after seeing Torn ads for a year on Facebook. I'm 46, turning 47 this year. I dig the game; it reminds me of the old-school BBS door games I used to play and early Facebook games like Mafia Wars. Also reminds me a bit of the old text-based Dope Wars from back in the early 1990s.I don't have the time to jump into high-commitment roleplaying games like I used to when I was younger and found Torn to be a nostalgic step back in time where I could find a few minutes every day to log on a couple of times and burn through my crimes and daily tasks like gym, racing, travelling, etc.It's been a blast!  The faction is also fun, reminds me of the team work and camraderie i experienced on the Guilds back in the early World of Warcraft days.

So many lines by this artist, but  "Life is a joke, and death is the punch line" by Amigo the Devil from the song Hungover in Jonestown.  There's a few in that song, proball y why it's one of my favourites

Ok, I'm new, so I don't have any advice, but how do you afford xanax so early in the game? The only time I've used it is when it was sent to me by my faction.

Star Wars: Clone Wars is a huge one at our house. Same with Rebels and Bad Batch.  Also, there is just something about Swamp People that I just love.

I recently (about two months ago) saw "Sinners" in the theatre.  I had no idea it was a vampire movie going in, and it was an entertaining show.  Also, the soundrack is AMAZING if you are into the blues, etc.  SO SO good.  Slide guitar <3

Swap the white potatoes for yukon gold and now we're talking.  Throw in some boursin cheese as well.  Yummmmm.  But yeah, freshly roasted garlic in potatoes is ah-mazing!!!

Goats are my personal favourite, but yeah, cow are pretty damn cute.

Some of my favorite artists are Amigo the Devil, Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band, and The Dead South.  Also a big fan of 90's/early 00's hip hop like Biggie, Eminem, etc. I also love Classic Rock.

Actually, I imagine that is quite delicious. The savouriness of the brown sauce mixed with the sweetness of a juicy strawberry. Sounds divine, and I'm intrigued.

Visit a nude beach. I went to one in Jamaica, and it was amazing. Tons of fun, and after you get over the initial shock of everyone being naked, it's a really cool experience. Surprisingly, no one judged anyone, and they just got to know one another based on personality. One of the most memorable moments of my life.

I work for America's largest retailer as a sales associate, though I have previously worked in management in the not-for-profit sector and am also a former medical aesthetician. I primarily did laser hair removal, which I quite enjoyed. I also did a stint as a FT stay at home mom for about 10 years.   I joined TORN through a FB ad, and I'm so glad I did.  I'm an old school nerd and I get a lot of old BBS vibe meets Mafia Wars meet text-based World of Warcraft.  I like that I can just hop on and off through out the day, commit a few crimes and wreak havoc between caring for my family and helping the masses at work.
