Sorry to say, but a little knowledge of the game wouldn't go amiss here.
Do you understand what it means for a player to try and reproduce this bug?
A DB costs 40b to 50b, it's a very expensive item to buy. 98%+ of Torn players cannot afford one.
A DB has also a significant effect on the targeted faction in respect, which has then to be gained by spending thousands of Energy by their members. Either before or followed by faction war, which will have many other costs in the process
This was found by chance and no one will offer to replicate this on your behalf.
We can't produce DBs out of thin air; Even if I had one I wouldn't prime it against another faction just for testing.
If there's anyone that can reproduce the bug is the dev/testing team, not the players.
Steps to reproduce:
- Set faction specials to max respect
- Our particular issue was with the suppression branch; maybe the issue is only related to this branch or maybe it impacts all branches
- Prime a DB against this faction so that the respect goes down below the used respect in specials
- The specials in the last branch should automatically be removed until the faction is no longer on "negative" respect. (This part seems to work)
- Specials need to be removed taking into consideration their prerequisites. If special B depends on special A being active, then you cannot remove special A and leave special B, as that would never be possible to achieve by normal circumstances (This is the part where the process failed in my bug report)
Ignoring a bug and closing a report because the players cannot reproduce it is not a good practice. At least try to reproduce it yourself first? Isn't there a dev environment this can be tested?

Considering half of the faction were still upgrading their baskets this year, we did very well to complete the chain with no hiccups during these last 8 days.
We beat NS3 (8 days, 6 hrs, 51 mins, 23 secs), but could not beat NS2 (7 days, 9 hrs, 54 mins, 52 secs) 100K. We will welcome another challenge next year!
Very proud of what we achieved here, well done NS4!

Amazing work my friends. We knew from the start that we were not one of the strongest teams, it's clear that most of Torn players disregard oral hygiene. Monsters.
After a few hours we could tell, we didn't had the most active team around.

That did not stop us! We did our best and we gave our enemies a good fight. We became very good at getting ourselves out of "0 life" problems, we could brush that plaque problem away with our hands tied behind our backs!

Every one of you that spent some time in chat and discord, spent all your energy and a bit more, followed our guidelines, spammed chat with instructions, provided intel, suggestions, supplies, traveled to avoid hitting, etc., made the difference. Too many to name, without making the biggest mistake of forgetting someone along the way. You are all MVPs.
Our leadership council, Jokur, decadria, Revenant, Yiddles and I thank you for letting us lead you on this journey and we're sorry for any disappointment of not being able to reach a higher place in the competition.

That was super fun. Really enjoying travel 2.0 and I do think we'll see more of this in the future.
We got what we wanted from it, a loss with enough score, that's why we all returned, but we could have easily kept this going until a timeout and I know we would have reached the 10k before JFK did.
