Hi, some of you may remember me, I have ran the New Player housing thread which I sent properties and cash to new players? Anyways. I want to help out another player with a cheap P.I! I've had it spare for a while so I thought why the hell not.. I MAY CONSIDER DOING THIS MONTHLY

Raffle for a 3700 P.I!

ENTRY:
To enter the raffle, there will be 35 tickets available at 25m per ticket. 2 maximum tickets per person. You can win a 870m P.I for just 25m!

Winner will be decided by a random number generator, which I will post screenshot of as proof.

So people know I won't scam...
Divalicious [1594031] as staff can't scam players and I will be sending the P.I to her to hold. You can either send the cash to me or Diva, I'd prefer myself so I can list every person in my notepad who sends the money in case all tickets don't sell so I can return cash. But it's up to you who you send it to.

If you intend to come here with he says she says and troll and flame I suggest you dont as it will be dealt with accordingly. Running someone through the ringer with no proof would be considered under this.
Also my advice to you all and mouse is that if you intend to name someone/add them to the list you not only require screenshots but also have events to send as screenshots can be edited.

I decided to bring this thread back to help out new players in the game. Not all of us get a good start on here and sometimes a little help can go a long way. So..

I am giving out free housing to new players, various housing will be giving, last time I gave a Palace even...

When I say broken the rule, I'll give an example. I was making a retro style piece, got around layer 30, flicked through the layer options and flipped the colours it made it like a piece made on LSD, all pink and purple aha. So just followed the rule again, and developed on it. Sometimes you'll do 10 layers, sometimes you'll do 100+. It's all down to you deciding when you know what looks good and call it a day. If you want to come back and improve later, stick all your layers in a group and hide it. in case you make it worse so you can always go back easier.

Play with the opacity on your layers and learn blending more.

Research these first before anything.

- Rule of Thirds. (Should be your first always, your focal point will be spot on every time)
- Lighting, mainly shadowing and light sources. You need to learn the flow of your art. Lighting is key to make a beginner piece into a masterpiece with the correct lighting.
- Blurring. Learn how to blur and make you focal even stronger, and your backgrounds more dynamic.
- The curves feature (Photoshop) If learnt right, changes everything.


Next bit is my own personal rule, but can be broken dependant on how you piece it together. 

ALWAYS go with a theme. Like sci fi - bright, colourful, fantasy etc. Don't be afraid to Google what colours compliment each other. If you want to create a beautiful nature piece, research the colours that go with that theme, like light, dark, foresty anything really. Once you've learned this, once you pick your stock/render you will find it very easy to stick to a choice you've made and build on it.
