Finally found some time to update my Job Finder. It will return all companies from the API to make it easier to identify companies with space for employees.
Works perfectly fine with a public API key. All keys are stored locally on your device.
Whilst looking around on the forums trying to find a company advertising hiring or waiting on someone from a company I wanted to message me I decided to come up with this simple program which I hope someone might find useful!
Select the company type you want and the * rating you want the company to be at. If there are any companies that fit the criteria, and they have fewer employees than the capacity they currently have they'll appear in the bottom list and you can just select them and click the go-to company page and apply!
It's written in Python and works with a Public Only API key. - Staff edit, refer to IBF's upcoming post.
I found torn on a website called TopWebGames. Back in those days you could vote once a week or whatever on various similar websites for perks. I think it was like a few free points, E & N refill
As close to IM rules on OSRS id probably say a similar restricted approach on form would be.
Obviously no trading, no bazaar sales or purchase, not able to join a player run job, no joining a faction, not able to mug only leave/hospitalise, only AI games in the casino.
basically nothing where the involvement of another real player could impact your wealth positively with I guess the exception of NPC loot.
also OP since you like the videos JoshIsntGamings chunk iron man is a good watch :)
The point being if you're using other peoples keys and create a loop it could temporarily block them from torn or interupt their other services that rely on API calls so back to my point I doubt many people will be giving them out just so you can scan for active players since it provides no benefit to them.
