It was not from any individual player as the name was not a clickable hyperlink. Had anybody else received an event like this?

Quick queation, is 10k crimes still a rank trigger? And if so, does the rank increase following the new day, or is it supposed to be instantaneous?

Sorry if this is already posted elsewhere, but given rhe egg hunt is almost over and people are still saying they haven't found many, if any eggs, I figured I'd share a tip. I found 9 eggs thus far, and the vast majority of them have been found over the torn icon in the top left corner of the screen on any given page and among the icons around name and money. Figures most I have found have been around something that makes it easy to click off of the page

As I think back, I am reminded of one of the biggest investment scammers I can recall, by the name of Tea. I am not sure if anyone has mentioned him yet or not.

Another one for my game personally, by the name of The_Dog, the leader of the first faction I was in upon starting the game.

Another one that comes to mind is MarlonBrando, unless he goes by something else now. Was quite active on the forums, could be quite annoying, but was good for level grinding due to his abysmal speed and defense.


If I think back hard enough, I can probably think of other long gone players who have helped shape the way I play, or who have helped steer the game in the direction it is heading now.

My best hand was a 4 of a kind with 10's. It wasn't a huge win as it was a low stakes table, but it was still my best hand. My most money won on one hand was about 635M with a Full House.

The Yorkshire Pudding find did it for me

The best thing I found in the dump throughout this event is a Yorkshire Pudding (in my display as proof). I also found several lottery vouchers, a few Christmas Spirit bottles, about a dozen bags of humbugs, and a jug of moonshine. Unrelated, I also found a skateboard in the city (skateboard is already sold and cash is gone, so please, no unnecessary mugs unless wasting your E gets you off.

There certainly are many pieces of junk in the dump, for obvious reasons. However, there are some diamonds to be found, for example, the Yorkshire Pudding I just found, sitting in my display box as proof. Keep on looking.

Having been playing for 17.5 years (6,420 days), I remember in the beginning when travel wasn't in existence, you could vote for torncity.com (as it was called then) on a couple websites and get rewarded with points and sell them for about 200 dollars a piece, and people often added to the end of their name (2_k_4_bust) to get a quick bust out of jail, because paying was the only way to get a quick bust, as merits and awards weren't a thing either. There was a time that a castle was the best property you could buy, because private islands didn't yet exist. I could be wrong, but I think at one point a mansion may have been the best you could buy. Many of us old heads also likely remember when dog fights were introduced, and enjoyed making a profit off of it before it was taken away. It was a much simpler game, and in a way more challenging, new players weren't coddled with 2 week protection like they are today. Access to drugs I believe weren't introduced until travel was implemented (I think it was 2 Mexican locations). Oh yeah, you could buy a stat enhancer for like 5m, but money was exceedingly hard to get, and staff would inspect very thoroughly anyone who appeared to have more money than they should. I could continue about the old days, but I think I'll stop now.

Being level 91, you should have more sense than to get successfully mugged for a large sum of cash.

After spending all of my E searching the dump, including using Xanax, points, and my three free refills, I am reminded of a point in my life when I was a child. My family was so destitute, that we literally had to save up to be poor. I don't just check the dump here, but I used to dumpster dive in real life. My first piece of French Toast came from a dumpster out of a breakfast Cafe. And now yesterday, Christmas Eve, I have gotten to a point in my life where I walked into a sandwich shop and ordered my wife and myself a sandwich and I left 40 dollars behind and asked for the lady at the counter to buy a sandwich for whomever looked hungry, because I don't want anyone to have to rely on dumpster diving to eat like I did when I was a child. I have been blessed and now I can be a blessing to others, and being able to do that during this time of year especially makes me feel happy. Of course I do share this in hopes of receiving a valuable item to help with my paltry networth in game, but the story is 100% true.
