PnB rebooted in September 2019 after almost a decade in hibernation. This shell has not changed hands for cash since 2008 when I bought it to form the original PnB faction. We rebooted with the intention of growing fast, in the same way we did all those years ago- An army of hungry, active, ambitious new players who wanted to grow quickly combined with experienced players with decent stats. The chance to be part of bringing back the glory days ensured that PnB grew fast and the roster developed quickly. We are now a family of three factions.
PnB is recruiting people over 4b stats. Exceptions are occasionally made for hyper active people. PnB Penguins and PnB Rising are recruiting everybody from young and hungry players to experienced vets. If you want a faction that can guide you from your first day, or the day you decide you want to make something of yourself in this game, this is the place for you. With lots of help and advice on offer from the more experienced members of the group, the young players here will help us achieve our goal of world domination! We support new players with unlimited access to ecstasy for training, xanax for chaining and meds for whatever you need them for. Beers and candy are there for you to ensure you are always using your booster cooldown in peacetime. Every member gets a full set of the best armour, an Armalite, a BT MP9 and a Macana from the faction armoury. Guides and help with happy jumping, chaining and more.

Following on from Evo's great success in testing green leaf players with super busters, we decided it was largely pointless continuing on the path of gradually decreasing the total nerve in Rosie's PA.
So I spent some time talking to new players until I found three who I thought would stick around in the game for a while and benefit from a super boost start to the game. And then, Rosie clinched her place amongst the gods of Torn as she dragged all three of them through a PA!
The three new players all gained two levels and jumped to 30 nerve bar off the back of this. One of them had hit 20NNB already so only gained 10, the other two moved up 15 at once. That is three green leafs who can now start arsons before they can be bountied...Imagine!
The PA text may as well read Rosie in all spots. If we could try her on her own next, I reckon she could fulfil all four roles just fine!
Laying hidden upon a rooftop, Anastaisa sets up their sniper rifle. This contract has a hefty reward.
On the streets below, DrHotdog and Rosie wait with their engines running.
The Senator approaches with his motorcade. Uhtrred radios in the team to prepare.
DrHotdog drives a truck across in front of the convoy. The Senator's car tries to backtrack but Rosie quickly blocks its escape.
With a stationary target Anastaisa steadies the rifle, and lines the crosshair up with the Senator's head.
BANG! One shot is fired, the bullet pierces the front window and enters the Senator's head. His body slumps lifelessly.
The team quickly evacuates during the mass confusion. A payment of $100,000,000 from a mysterious source is later finalized.
Now we move on to pushing the boundaries of plane hijack teams and seeing what we can get away with there! #science

I'd never bothered with racing til about a month ago. Then I decided I wanted to gain the merits as quickly as I could. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one so I thought I would share how I did it.
I had a gander through the forums for a guide like this but the closest thing was the upgrades guide. It was useful but contained a lot of information that I didn't care about and had to filter through. So I thought I would provide this for others in the same boat!
A race takes up to an hour to start. The hour begins when the first person enters the race. If you are the 6th person in the race, it will be quicker to start. Different tracks take different lengths of time but you can roughly do a race every 80 mins or so.
CLASS E: 25 total points to progress. Buy a Renault Clio. Race until you get the points needed. It took me 46 races.
CLASS D: 100 total points to progress. Buy a Toyota MR2. I used 20 points to upgrade: Uprated Brake Discs Polished Throttle Body Open Air Filter Strip Out Fast Road Tyres
CLASS C: 250 total points to progress. Buy a Honda Integra R. I used 80 points to upgrade: Fixed Rear Spoiler Air Forced Engine Cooling Fast Road Brake Fluid Grooved and Drilled Brake Discs Competition Racing Brake Pads Stage one Turbo kit Competition Polished Throttle Full Exhaust System Premium Uprated Fuel Uprated Springs & Dampers (Hard) Quick Shift Ultra-Light Flywheel Strip out Fast Road Tyres Lightweight Alloys
CLASS B: 475 total points to progress. Buy a Sierra Cosworth I used all available points from the off and then continued to upgrade until I had the best version of everything. I worked on the assumption that each image would only have one upgrade so you couldn't do, for example, Uprated Brakes Discs & Grooved Brake Discs. I'm not sure that is correct but it is logical and what I upgraded was more than enough. I won something like 70/85 races in Class B then advanced to Class A and earned the first merit!
As I had no interest in Class A racing, this put me in a great position to start after the second merit. It's not the best route if you want to race in Class A, but remember this guide is purely for the merits. If you want a real guide to racing, go look up RD's guide.
I'm now racing friends on one lap races on the Speedway track to get to 250 races won and that second merit. I think it is going to take a week or two but you can do about 20 races an hour if you have the time to sit around.
If you did the same thing and did it quicker, feel free to share your method below to help people. That's the way I did it and I'm buzzing I don't have to race anymore!
Following on from the One Year Celebration thread, I thought I would do the same again for our two year mark.
From the 1.5m respect we had when I applied on September 30th 2019, we almost doubled that in year one, hitting 2.9m respect. A further twelve months on and we have just passed 4.4m respect. Flying up the respect HOF!
We had just two people over 1b total at the start point and this time last year, we had 58 people. Now we have 85 people who have reached that marker. Our bottom end is still relatively weak compared to our peers but there are some kick ass people in that sub 1b group and by this time next year, they will all be reaching that marker!
I spent the first 18 months as PnB's biggest stat member and now I am down in fourth! Something that I am really pleased about!
And finally, now we have eight successful PA teams and everybody else doing plane hijacks and working towards even more PA teams.
I am buzzing with the progress we are making here. By the time we get to the three year thread, I hope to be firmly ensconced in the top ten strongest factions! Big love to everybody involved in getting us to this point! Bring on ranked warring- We will win some and we will lose some but most importantly we will have fun and keep growing

For sure. It's a terrible war system to find out how a faction compares to another. Based on what I have seen today, I think we win this comfortably if outside interference was impossible in ranked wars. Eight hours of pinning ME down and we can't move the dial because we can't land a bonus hit and we can't sit and play whack-a-mole with the sniping from MHQ. Fair play to Monarch HQ though- You guys look laser focused on being the best merc service around. It's not my cup of tea but I can still appreciate a good brew!
