- Acquiring an inactive player's name costs 200 + (50 x their level) points, which the wiki gives as between 250 and 2,700 points. (documented; Preferences › Name / Email, )
- To take an inactive player's name, the owner must have been inactive for 75 days + (25 days x their level), which the wiki gives as between 100 and 1,325 days. (documented; Preferences › Name / Email, )
- Other conditions for taking an inactive name: the owner must not be a donator or subscriber, must be under level 50, must not be Fallen or Resting in Peace, and must have under 5 weekly active people who have added them to friends or enemies lists. (documented; Preferences › Name / Email, )
