What TornLife has verified
- Racing skill is gained every race, more with longer tracks and better finishes; car type has no effect. Capped at 100. Torn City Motors stock block gives 10% boost. Custom races give skill but no racing points. (documented; Race Track › Custom Races, )
- Points spent or lost in a crash still count towards ranking up. Racing Points from Company specials do not count towards class; only points earned from racing count. (documented; Race Track › Classes, )
- The wiki (captured 2023-12) says players start in Class E and advance by earning Racing Points from top-three finishes in official races: 3 for 1st, 2 for 2nd, 1 for 3rd. Thresholds: D 25, C 100, B 250, A 475 Racing Points earned. (documented; Race Track › Classes, )
- The wiki (2025-05) lists Class A stat leaders: Stormatti Casteon top in top speed (60) and acceleration (60) but only obtainable through competitions and worst in braking and handling (40).
