Thats the main problem with the concept of faction mergers. Both groups of players have to be on the same page or it isnt going to work.

One would hope stuff like this would be sorted out BEFORE the merger.

Just merging to be a stronger group is fine, but if you dont get along it cant work.

This method of leadership works.

It seemed this wasn't going to work since they kept 2 factions despite only having enough good players for one.  The point of a merge is to consolidate power, not dilute it.

Enough good players for 1 Faction is a bit of a stretch, maybe 1/2 a Faction?

Sorry, but why are people talking trash in forum when they dont know what actually happened in our faction?

Champion clearly is out to make a mess out of everything like usual, but did not get any facts right in this case. He clearly dosent know why we merged, and why we split up.

What would the reason be?

Almost every member that left FTW / MM the past weeks / months said that it was due to a lack of proper leadership prior to the merger (leading chains falling in the hands of just one or two people), due to a lack of clarity after the merger (Not knowing which faction did what, lots of confusion about specials and what not etc.)

No disrespect for either faction & what's being said might be harsh but from what I've heard, a lot of members that were part of these factions see it as the truth. (aside from the trolling ofc.)

Even current members of either factions are confirming what champ's saying...

Both factions had the best intentions to make this great, but leadership failed to work as planned due to RL bad timing I guess. This resulted in me alone trying to run a new setup of 2 factions, which was a whole lot more than I could and would handle.

So I decided to pull the plug and focus my time on my own faction Memento Mori and what I have build there. As you point out, members were getting frustrated and we could end up losing our core members if we didn't make changes fast.

FTW and MM are still close friends and allies, we are even more blend with each other after this past few months. There are no issues or drama, we have just realised that the setup was not going to work. So better reverse it before all is lost on the floor.
