I hope to stay alive long enough to see all groups and individuals being treated thoughtfully, kindly, equally and with respect; both as Community members and as human beings.
At the moment, it can seem like there are just too many people who are totally terrified of everything and everyone.
Living their lives by wasting their own time and ruining everyone else's, by believing everything they read or are told, by screaming, judging and discriminating 24/7.
By being afraid and putting that fear onto groups of people who don't look, act or think in the same way they do.
It's easy to think that most people are like that; but they're really not.
The ones who are just shout the loudest because they're the most scared. Makes it seem like there's more of em than there really is.
It will change. It has to. Living in terror is no way to live.

Going to my first professional women's soccer game this weekend, and the home team is doing Pride Night to kick off Pride Month. Gonna be the 5th wheel of a lesbian couple & another couple, but definitely the most colorfully dressed. Yay love <3
