Happy Pride Month!!

I hope to stay alive long enough to see all groups and individuals being treated thoughtfully, kindly, equally and with respect;
both as Community members and as human beings.

At the moment, it can seem like there are just too many people who are totally terrified of everything and everyone.

Living their lives by wasting their own time and ruining everyone else's, by believing everything they read or are told, by screaming, judging and discriminating 24/7.

By being afraid and putting that fear onto groups of people who don't look, act or think in the same way they do.

It's easy to think that most people are like that; but they're really not.

The ones who are just shout the loudest because they're the most scared. Makes it seem like there's more of em than there really is.

It will change. It has to. Living in terror is no way to live.

There are Clouds, true, but never forget that there are also Rainbows!

TD/LR for Clouds; Be less frightened; be more kind; don't judge.

TD/LR for Rainbows; Thanks for being brave!!!

Happy Pride! I usually go to the parade in NYC, hand out condoms and other fun goodies, and protest the protesters. This year I had the honor of being featured for pride as the June photo for a calendar. <3

Going to my first professional women's soccer game this weekend, and the home team is doing Pride Night to kick off Pride Month. Gonna be the 5th wheel of a lesbian couple & another couple, but definitely the most colorfully dressed. Yay love <3

hard to verify, since unless it's announced in a staff edit, there's no way to know for sure. anyone who just gets all their trash posts deleted and quietly banned would throw the count off

regardless, any number greater than zero would make me happy

We run regular contests in our discord. This month, many of the opportunities to earn points are going to be Pride-related.

The four teams have been renamed for queer activists. [background color=var(--bbc-body-bg-color)]Arsham Pars, [/background][background color=var(--bbc-body-bg-color)]Chi Chia-Wei, [/background][background color=var(--bbc-body-bg-color)]Levan Berianidze, [/background][background color=var(--bbc-body-bg-color)]Mima Simi?.

Our first task is to learn about the person our team has been named after, and share what we learned.

I found a neat video where Chi Chia-Wei talked about their experiences as a gay man in Taiwan. https://youtu.be/VEjWZBNNM6Y
